David is so great. Most of the things he is teaching I already know, but he is doing it in a such a continuous and logical manner that it keeps my brain concentrated even when he is explaining trivial things. And what is most interesting, when he is talking about trivial things, great new discovery uprises. Be very attentive to those moments and really small hidden secrets of WordPress will open for you!

Great introduction to Wordpress - wish I'd taken this course when I had a blog a few years ago.
I followed along with the sessions to set up my site. After taking a break, I spotted what looked like a more interesting session further on. DON'T DO THIS! I missed the bit about backing up and downloaded a widget which messed everything up, still this is learning and I won't do it again.
Thank you David, I will use the session again when I load up the website for real.

The course is definitely for beginners to Wordpress. I found the pace was slow, but good for a beginner. The title states that this is Wordpress training for 2018 step-by-step. The step-by-step is correct and great! But, the video was done in 2016 and has not been updated. Wordpress and the Plugins have been updated, therefore, some of the examples on current versions do not match his version examples. I would prefer that the title match the content date or leave the date out of the title. Also, it appears that the author does not answer questions. If both were corrected, I would give it 5 Stars.

Easy to listen to, speaks clearly. Love the pace. Everything he teaches is useful to me. Goes right to helpful information. Very cheery and funny comments throughout course. Very helpful! Would be a repeat customer for his courses!

I love the short break down of each function, and the fact that he does not have a mouse that moves too fast. Subjects don't get blurred with other activities.

Definitely covers the basics.. a lot of the fundamentals. All the basic plug ins. You'll find out that he wants you to get his SEO master-course.

This course has taken me from zero to a position where I can create a decent looking website. I like the thoroughness of the instructor (even mentioning to push Command + C to copy!) which is just right for the audience. The various SEO enhancement tips were also very valuable. Highly recommended.

Too basic and at the same time, not in-depth enough for people who would need a basic introduction. Important things such as explaining that with wordpress, unlike with other platforms, you need to sort your own server service out, that you need to buy a domain, etc. It takes it for granted. But people who already know these things, don't need a superficial explanation of the interface. So it is neither for beginner, nor intermediates...

The course is practical, that is what I like the best :) The videos are short /which is convenient/, detailed enough, and the lecturer looks relaxed, speaks slowly and transmits the same to me :)

This course was great, it started off slow (in a good way) and then built up from there. The content was explained simply so it was easy to grasp. There was a little bit of waffling at times but nothing to over the top. I would recommend this course!

I've now completed this course. It has been fantastic. Probably as much of WordPress as could be covered has been covered, and well. There is no way to cover all the themes and plugins, but enough were covered to get comfortable with finding, selecting and using them. The things I had wanted to learn, I have and more besides.
The instructors pace is nearly perfect and he made good use of time without a lot of empty talk. Mr. Murray is soft spoken and has a rather relaxing tone and cadence which I thought made the course more pleasant to listen to.
I would definitely recommend this to other WordPress beginners and will give strong consideration to other courses from this instructor.
