I could not search on the PDFs for the codes but they downloaded fine and I could scroll on them. The resources will work best in a PC.

It's good since it's free but if paid I'll rate it 1 star. The last sections were helpful for me since it has a demo of using EHR. Thanks for the free lessons. I learned something new.

The course is a very good introduction to Medical Coding and Billing. The videos were short but informative, and everything was easy to digest. I would very much recommend this for people interested in medical coding and would like to know a little bit more before committing to a paid course.

It is very interesting and a wealth of knowledge. I'd like to see more with Behavioral Health as well.

Confused about how many manuals - first said 3 manuals (ICD-10-CM; CPT; and HCPCS. Then in later section mentioned another manual - Bucks Coding Manual. The first few examples used the ICD-10-CM index and tabular list documents to find the codes but for the 5th example used Bucks Coding Manual but didn't say why used a different manual.

So far, I've completed Sections 1 & 2. The instructor speaks clearly and goes at a good pace. I liked going through the ICD coding examples & exercises in Section 2. I think it would've been helpful though if there were more explanations in the first two course sections. In Section 1, lesson 3 on "Medical Biller's Tasks", I thought I heard the term "EOB" mentioned. While I know "EOB" stands for "Explanation of Benefits", those who may not know would have to pause the video to Google "EOB". It doesn't take much to Google something, but it can be a little distracting and take time & attention away from the objectives of a lesson. In Section 2, lesson 4 on "ICD-10-CM Intro and Example 1", there are Resources for download along the right side of the screen. These Resources might be missed if the video is viewed in full screen mode, so lesson 4 should begin with a suggestion to pause the video in order to download the files that will be used throughout Section 2. A couple of other tips that would've also been useful at the start of Section 2 are: 1) Search on the broader term in a given diagnosis (i.e. for "Smoker's cough", search on the broader term "cough") and 2) If there is no mention on whether a condition is acute or chronic, assume the condition is acute (i.e. if you're only given the condition "Rhinitis", assume the condition is "Rhinitis, acute").
