Just wish this course had gone into a bit more depth in terms of how to structure multiple databases/tables. Other than that, went through all the basics very efficiently.

It is OK, but is it for someone who has never touched a database before and knows zero SQL. I was looking for in-depth usage of sqlite in terms of python

For me it was a refresher course for SQLite and the SQL language. It is straight foreward. That makes it fast, exactly what I want. The app example could be a little more sophisticated, its more like a repetitition of the single steps. Why not.

I rarely give a course such low rating, but after I read instructor's response, I decided to do so. This course is on Youtube for free, and one of the student has already listed on the review section. The instructor responded that this course teaches everything we need to know to use sqlite as a database is so wrong. The information is sufficient to use sqlite as a SINGLE TABLE, and there is no information on using 2 tables (joining search), performance etc. You generally would learn more from geeks for geeks when you reading through their articles on python sqlite. I think this instructor just made this course to advertise his own site.

Easy to watch and informative. Some fundamental database concepts are just skipped, such as the cursor, but can easily be learned from other sources. I believe it would be interesting to include a sample of reading multiple large CSV files into a database, e.g.. Thank you for putting the course together.

as someone with mid level Python and very rudimentary sql skills, I appreciated that we went over the steps several times. That's how I learn. Do the examples with him.

Good course, easy to follow. Would've preferred a more in depth tour on SQLite and why it is advantageous over other Databases.

This course is exactly what I expected if not better. It's simple, he explains the material great without wasting time like a lot of instructors do. Highly recommend!

This is a great primer going into incorporating SQL with your python code. sqlite3 is free and comes with python, so just natural to tackle this maybe after you learn python basics. The course can be completed in a day, but you'll learn enough to write something useful. If you are reading this, get the course already. There is a nice bonus at the end too.

Normally, I do not leave a bad review but this course is the worst. There are multiple issues - 1. This Course is available for free here. Exact same course and material - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byHcYRpMgI4&ab_channel=freeCodeCamp.org 2. Another issue is that the Instructor has not edited the unnecessary parts. Slow installation, downloads, etc all are kept as it is. The course can be easily reduced to just 30 minutes if he edits the unnecessary parts. Even the Instructor does not seem to be knowledgeable. He keeps on saying - "I don't know"... 3. The Instructor keeps on watching the other screen continuously where he has kept his notes and due to that he takes time to deliver and covers that with unnecessary stuff just to fill the time. How can this be the Best Seller Course? I request Udemy to see that if the course is available for free on Youtube, why would they tag it as Bestseller and ask students to pay for it. Please think before buying this course.

It was a great course and I liked it, but the problem that I faced in it was running my codes and commands in cmd (git bash); it would not run in a same directory. So if it had been in a CMD or other code-editors (2021-2022) than it could have made things much easier, but thank you for your work. I learned a lot.

I loved the course, as it was very easy to follow along to. I got stuck some times but it was easy to back on track. I recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning about python.

This course doesn't really teach SQLite. You are not going to learn any meaningful thing about SQLite. And what's point of mixing SQLite and Python. This course should be designed for SQLite only from command line. After thorough review of SQLite, then it should demonstrate same technique with Python.
