What you will learn

How to quickly and accurately subnet IPv4 and IPv6 addresses to help you pass your CCNA or Network+ exams.

Also included are IP regulations and ranges, and more.

Why take this course?

The best course in subnetting.

If you are just starting your CCNA journey or you are simply curious about jobs in IT, especially network engineering, then this a good course to begin with. Total beginners, veterans, and others of all ages are welcome.

Subnetting can be confusing at first. But in my course, I teach you an easy-to-follow method that is fast and cannot fail, and you don't need to understand binary to learn and use it! This will help you immensely on your exams whether you are taking the Cisco CCNA or the CompTia Network+ exam, because it will save you precious time.

The CCNA 200-301 Total IP and Subnetting Lab is an in depth look at IP addresses (IPv4 and IPv6) as they relate to network connectivity, and the fastest & easiest subnetting formula for both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. This course is a perfect starting place for CCNA or Network+ candidates, and anyone else who is curious about a job in IT as a tech support or network engineer. Not an exam dump. Just a solid foundation to build upon.

This course contains:

  • Basic network overview

  • Basics of MAC and DHCP, and more

  • Subnetting: why do we do it?

  • Ipv6 abbreviation and how to do it

  • Subnetting

  • RFC and IANA standards

  • IPv4 addresses, RFC1918 and IANA approved ranges, default masks, and how binary plays a role

  • IPv4 and IPv6 Subnetting Lab with examples, including how to create new subnet masks, and how to properly count host addresses.

  • NOV 2023 Just added! NEW BONUS module: Contiguous and non-contiguous networks. Over an hour of new content where we build a network in Packet-Tracer and apply what we learned by using real-world configurations and troubleshooting of multiple LANs.

These classes began as a simple whiteboard course, but I have since made new full-color graphics and I also added and re-recorded all the videos to more clearly explain the content. I am still making improvements, so I will update videos. I hope that you find it useful. Thank you!

I really learned a lot today! Very short and effective explanations. This course is effective for those who have very few idea about IP addresses, importance of subnetting and the difference between DHCP and Static IP! Those are mostly my takeaways but the course has more details if you take it seriously. Love it~

a good course...but in lection 8 it says we have a /26 IP-address and need a number of subnets with 10 Hosts....we need 4 bits for the Hosts, which means you have 2 bits left for the subnets (makes 4)....shouldnt it be /28 instead of /30 then?

me encanta la manera de enseñar en este curso , ya que no envuelve mucho con la teoria y va al punto de la enseñanza.

Great course. Will most definitely need to study IPv6 a lot more as it could be a course, unto itself.
