really stupid course! a lot of information is poorly explained, and the idea of using rubber blocks to explain the movements of the packages and the osi stack is really confusing and non-functional!

Very early into the course and Mike/Joe hold my attention very well. I enjoy the examples & illustrations. I usually require interacting with material in multiple ways (reading/listening/watching) before I understand concepts and this course does a great job of providing it.

The overall course was okay, but in some places, I felt like the content wasn't thoroughly explained visually, making it harder to understand. Also at times even with visual representation, the topic is being taught in an intermediate way rather than just explaining it in a basic way. I would prefer to learn those intermediate content in a way that network beginners could understand. For eg: The Powercert Animated youtube videos.

I used Mike Meyers course for my A+ exam and passed both tests on the first try. This course was just as informative and helpful so I feel confident for my upcoming Network+ exam.

I Passed my Network+ N10-008. I found this course very useful. My only recommendation would be to use a packet tracer to demonstrate some topics such as LANS, WANS, switch, router. So students can follow along

Audio levels are all over the place. Typos in the text. One section when they zoom in on the guy its on his chest and not his face. Just feels rushed and low quality compared to A+ series.

So far yes... it continues to keep the learner engaged which is really good! Unfortunately, some of the concepts are not taught or presented clearly enough and almost presume the learner's knowledge. I wish there were hand's on tasks that a learner could do alongside the material, especially since the Net+ exam I believe has multiple real life example questions whereby the exam taker can actually demonstrate he/she really knows the material. I forget what they are called however; there is a name for them.

Les sous-titres ne sont pas toujours bien présenté. Il y a des erreurs et ils cachent le bas de l'écran ce qui fait que l'on ne voit plus l'information en bas.

Some of the graphics were incorrect & the font used in them is not appropriate for technical text, like a nerd font would be instead. It seems a technical review of the graphics was not done, or these errors & design shortcomings would be resolved. Otherwise, the rest of the content is good.

These are very descriptive analogies, more information about what each layer does than I have ever heard before.

I stick one crayon in my butt for every video I watch. I had to buy another pack of crayons. I would say this site is a success.

The TotalSeminars style of presenting is good and they are good at explaining things that are very detail oriented and sometimes complicated. The videos do not have all info needed to pass the Network+ exam. I've been supplementing with other online resources. Most of the info is here but it's lacking with in-depth coverage of DNS, VPNs, Port address translation, among other things. Worth the price if you get the course during a sale or at a discount, which there are lots of on this platform. Not worth the cost if it's full price.

Mike and Joe do an amazing job at breaking down the large, interconnected, and often dry subjects within the Net+. They make learning the material as straightforward as possible and do a great job of tying the material to real world scenarios.
