The training is outdated, the Toon Boom software they are using is outdated and no explanation on how to get the software. The video is not clear and there was no voice heard. I don't recommend anybody to subscribe for this course

Really clear, covering a lot of ground already, wasn't very optimistic about this at first because the program itself looked so daunting, but I've always loved animation and have been very interested in it. The lessons within this course already feel quite manageable, and I'm enjoying it very much, hopefully should be releasing cartoons in no time!

The author was clear and concise and the example were simple and easily understood. I found his voice to be stead and easy to listen to. I will most likely take another course from this author if there is one that I'm interested in.

Would have been nice for a general intro to the program and what it does. The intro seems to drive straight into a lesson.

Apart from a tendency to say "AAAANNNDD....." quite a lot, the tutor was clear, articulate and knowledgeable, and drove the course along at what I thought was a good pace. Some very useful hints and tips on using the software, and the occasional honest appraisal of its shortcomings! I enjoyed it.

Although this course does not cover all functions or workflows available in TBS, it provides a rather "sufficient" overview with extensive how-to details, easy to understand examples and an overall feeling of "oh, ok, I can do that!". I would like to subtract 1.5 points for the less-than-optimal audio quality (as a non-native English speaker I often times had wished the tutor had taken some speaking lessons for a more precise and clear dictation), the poor video quality (which may be udemy's fault, though) and some didactic flaws (sometimes hotkeys are sown, sometimes not, working with layers and getting results QUICKLY isn't covered in depth enough, a good example of a WELL DONE result is missing, some motivational shots would have been helpful). Nevertheless: I have already recommended this course to other TBS newbies and will do so again. Maybe an updated version, covering a more recent version of TBS - and going into more technical detail - will appear?
