Wonderful course, and I'm pleasantly surprised. I've been practicing Tarot for mostly for myself for over 15 years, I am very passionate and invested on the subject. Astrology, Hermeticism, Platonism, Qabalah and their application in Tarot aren't unfamiliar to me. Nevertheless, I've discovered value and insights in nearly every video that I've watched.
I'd rate it 4.5 stars, because it would have been much easier to add images and diagrams to the videos, as could have enhanced the comprehension of certain concepts and explanations. For someone who is unfamiliar with the correspondences, this might be challenging to grasp.
Great course. Hugo has a profound knowledge of the Tarot, and he communicates this knowledge in a very astute and engaging manner. To say I learned a lot would be an understatement. My hope is that he will create follow up course in the near future.

I am approx. 40% through the content and thoroughly enjoying the course, for several reasons.
(1) It is very thorough
(2) The instructor provides the guidance needed to go way beyond the content of this course and follow one of two paths or to create your own. So, if you truly want to deepen your knowledge, connection and well-roundedness of the tarot, you will been provided with the identification of resources to set you onto that path.
(3) Hugo very much reminds me of young, cool, knowledgeable and sincere college professors in the 1970s (yeah, I'm that old). I feel like I am back in the NYC college I attended almost 50 years ago. There were certain professors that I could just listen to intently while scribbling notes and at the end of the one or two hours it felt as if the time had flown by. This is my experience in this course.
Now, I'm not new to tarot. But, I believe that it is important to learn from different people. Every instructor brings something new to the table. That is no different here. In fact, this is an depth course. What you take away from it will be up to you. However, Huge provides you with the opportunity to go a lot further, if you have the desire and you put in the time.
If I were to rank the different tarot courses available according to educational levels, such as grade school, middle school, high school and college/university, then this would be the college/university course. This course focuses upon presenting knowledge. This is not an intuitive tarot course. Everything is well presented at a solid level of detail. The historical information is wonderful and has me itching to learn more of that component. If you are seeking knowledge, this course is for you. If you don't want to put in the time and effort and seek a "fast" intuitive approach, then this is not the course for you. However, if you want to begin with knowledge and then enhance that knowledge with practice, experience and additional learnings that cover the intuitive side, then this course is probably the best solid foundation you will find on Udemy and probably on other learning platforms. Beginner, intermediate or experienced, you will benefit from this course. I would suggest two things to the student: (1) have a notebook or note-taking app handy and (2) if you have no experience with the tarot then buy a Rider-Waite deck and become familiar with the cards because it will help you to absorb the information in this course without getting lost. You can keep the deck handy an pull the appropriate card for reference.
