The main Tutor ( Jason Allen) doesn't seem to be as competent as in is his previous videos ( Music Theory for Electronic Musicians) I watched. During his short appearances in this course he gives talks a lot general stuff with no greater value for the students. The guest tutors have a lot more in storage. Jason Allen's prior announcement that they will use some external plugins could be extended to the point that you do need a magnifying glass due to the suitable quality of the video quality. Especially the material of Jack Denny is not usable at all because neither the video quality (you literally almost can't figure out what he's trying to show) nor the audio quality is acceptable to demand money for it! Jason Allen is a good tutor when it comes to music theory, thus I bought a lot of his other learning videos here on Udemy. But even in his 5th part of the Music Theory for Electronic Musicians he seemed to have a thin concept. This impression was even undercut by this course here. I'm really disappointed because I expected a lot more!

The instructor seems to be improvising everything and does not have a clear objective. He digresses frequently during his instruction and he needs to turn off his message alerts during the production of the videos, so far I am very disappointed with this course and I am not impressed. The guests videos are better although the production varies.

I am enjoying the class, it's basically what I expected. I thought there would be a few more recipes (didn't look @ the module list when buying so that's really my fault) but yeah, great course!

I love these classes. The recipe books and also the one you made with making beats. It's a cool concept for a class. It's not so much a typical class that walks you through from start to finish but rather a collection of tutorial videos from different sound designers. You definitely want to know the basics of sound design before taking this class.

The instruction videos are OK, but far away from high quality/professional. The videos in between have a very annoying noise/crackling sound in the background => this is kinda unprofessional.

I learned so much from this course. Been producing for a couple years and just haven't been able to get these clean bass sounds. After spending around 5 or 6 hours going through these tutorials and applying the techniques I am now able to get much nicer bass sounds and there are also some really cool tricks in here as well. Thank you!!

The course has a large focus on Ableton instruments and effects, with signal routing that extremely difficult to reproduce with most VSTs. Also, as others have noted, the low resolution videos make it hard to see the details of what is happening.

1) the screen resolution is beyond terrible guys. Really is fatiguing trying to follow along. Please step it up :-( 2) explanations are partial . Very disappointed. Same complaint in the video prior.
