Had 4 Amatuer fights in the Military but didn't continue although I had offers. Kept up the training and. I'm now a PT who has my own gym and I like to teach them basic boxing for fitness. Needless to say this has come in very useful, so thanks and well done.

It worked very well for me, particularly during the current period when person2person contact practice has not been permissable. Avoided the temptation to start at intermediate level and began course right from the very first lesson and worked through. Definitely improved my head position when striking - getting that chin well tucked in but not thrusting head forward when striking. Improved the rhythm of strikes and got better understanding of how to use different combinations of rhythms in an attack. I'm certainly hitting harder and being more conservative with foot movements in order to strike more effectively - developing a good base for throwing punches. Definitely highly recommended course for beginners but also for experienced practitioners looking to improve techniques and strategies and maybe iron out some weaker elements of their repertoire that have become stale and/or lazy over time. As someone with over 35 years experience in various martial methods and combat sports, including instructor/coaching qualifications in Urban Combatives, Krav Maga and western boxing, I can thoroughly recommend Harj Sohal’s Fundamentals of Solo Boxing Programme. This clear well-designed programme incrementally builds skills & drills for the most useful combinations for solo practice with heavy bag or Bob. Participants learn the basics of footwork and body dynamics essential to delivering powerful primary strikes, whether using the closed fist or open hand (or elbow), relevant for both sporting and self protection applications. The overall programme is very well structured in easily digestible sections & subsections and is accompanied by great videos.
