This course was very nice. I enjoyed the way the presenter gave her lectures and it was obvious that she's an expert in the field. However, one downside was that she doesn't give feedback as promised. Other than that, it was a great for course for me. Thank you, miss Nicole.

I like Nicola. And I liked reading her short stories. Liking the author and her words seems crucial to learning from her. The only thing I would add is more information/guidance on how to do certain things. For example, how does a writer create a hook/effective opening? She tells what and why, but sometimes not how. I would want more techniques for achieving the concepts she shares.

So far \I'm hooked, both by the very clear teaching and especially by the inspiring message embedded in the tone and substance as I go deeper into the content.

This was a great course with a complete overview of short story writing and processes to consider in writing and publishing. I did not participate in posting work for response, but I have worked through many of the suggested exercises. Getting in my writing chair! Thanks Nicola!

Too much ado about nothing at the first part. Then, the teacher delivers more information. However, in many cases, pretty basic. (e.g. working with drafts? save them with a different version number! come on! to get writing ideas? Look out the window). At some moments,, I think, I am the problem. Probably, I misinterpreted the information in the course offering.

Easy to access and genuinely helpful resources. Would love to work with her more on the writing process and the more technical side of writing!

I'm giving Nicola a 5-star rating for her presentation. This course is great for absolute beginners. I've been writing for some time so there was nothing new for me. But if you are new to writing this is a great course.

I have always loved writing, it calms me, helps me sort out my thoughts. Recently I have wanted to write stories for my grandsons to share, my stories, their parents stories and their own in funny and interesting ways. This course is already giving me new inspiration. THank You.

Hi Nicola Valentine, It has been a great journey to go through your course. Motivation may be the key to write a short story, and the key is somewhere else in the course. One must look for it - action needed. This is what I learnt from your course. You are great! Thanks a lot. I will certainly like to go through the entire course once again. I would like to be in touched with you, if you allow. Thanks again for the nice course. Surajit.
