SAP MDG - UI, FPM, Adaptations, Derivations and Validations

Till here, not able to connect how and which class is associated to which part on MDG on UI. It was mentioned in a slide that data derivation/validation will be performed for inter UIBB but not covered. Disappointing.

It is a very nice course to get through MDG in a broader perspective. Can you please create a more detailed course on MDG. Ex: Cross Entity Derivations, Parallel and Context Based Workflows, Validations and Derivations through BRF+, IDOC and SOA Replications and Replication to/from SAP and Non-SAP systems. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

I have recently taken Vishal's SAP MDG Courses on Udemy and his skills in this area are exceptional, both from a functional and technical point of view. He is clearly an SAP MDG Expert and delivers high quality training materials that are easy to understand to students with no knowledge of SAP MDG. The training provides practical examples where you can set up custom objects and modify existing objects and also provides detailed instructions on where and how to adapt the ABAP coding. I would certainly welcome the opportunity to work with Vishal in the future and if I'm hiring for a SAP MDG Expert in the future I will be contacting him as my first port of call. Equally if I wanted further training or training for my team in the area of SAP MDG again he would be my go to guy. Keep up the good work Vishal and I hope I have the opportunity to work with you in the future.

The content was pretty good, but on in several instances, the screen content was too small. maybe find a way to zoom in.

FPM part is good. I was expecting an explanation on link between Data model and FPM application / component. Example: Which UIBB in FPM application is linked to which entity of data model so that when a data model is enhanced with a custom field how it's available in FPM context automatically for drag & drop onto UIBB screen (The logic might be in GET_DEFINITION method in feeder for which data model entity is the source but its a guess as there is no such linkage explained). If Data model & FTM are linked through config, its good to know that as well. I will go through Process modelling as well to understand more. Thanks Vishal.

They Why part is missing. Like initially he is showing the usage of FPM to add fields, then in the later part he goes and shows the usage of UI addition using another method of adding the entities to data model. No mention of SMTP mapping. Also he should give PRO and cons of each type of development. Missing is the BRF+ usage for derivations and validations.

Very well taught and structured course content. I started as a beginner, before I took this course. Now I am confident, I can start working in it, in few days, in my project. Thanks for the great learning experience.

1) sand box system is not working for MM data model due to system issues. 2) Material is being enhanced on OG or FI data model which is not like real time scenario 3) The coding for FPM is not shown properly,which is core of this topic.FPM is not functional topic ,it is technical ,and technical knowledge is not shared adequately. 4) The testing of ADPTATION was not working ,some material is searched and some other material is showing and it looked quite odd on a professional course like this.Get details is vanishing on UI screen. 5) Overall content is not good and scenario is poorly selected,people will not be able to find it helpful in real-time project work.

Very nice explained the MDG FPM GUI Concepts. Please also address GUI for custom data model and wiring concepts.

it is good beginner course but not in details. generally used finance model since it is flex mode it is easy to show in demonstration.

Was good but could be improved by adding Cross-Entity Derivation and at least one complex custom field like drop-down field. Also can mention how to find the table for entity, eg. how to find that for PCTR entity, CEPC is the dictionary table.
