Enhance your SAP ABAP Skills

Gain competitive advantage and make a difference in your work team

Why take this course?

In this course you will learn the new SAP ABAP Language features( ABAP 7.4 and 7.5). These new language statements improve the existing ABAP syntax and adds new language capabilities.

These are easy to use and reduces the number of lines we need to code to achieve the same functionality. The new language features have been added without taking away the old syntax (ensuring backward compatibility).

Course Structure:

The Course is structured into Theory and Demos. For the topics there will be an explanation followed by a demo on how to use the new language features.

These videos build upon one another and provide an integrated understanding of how to write better and efficient code.

Who is this course for?

  • All ABAP Developers/Consultants/Architects who code in ABAP. This is because all new SAP Code is delivered with new language capabilities. Hence, it is important to know the new language syntax so that you can understand the SAP delivered code.

  • This course is recommended for all SAP Consultants or Architects who work in ABAP.

  • All ABAP developers who want to leverage the new Language capabilities and write better and efficient ABAP code.

At the close of the course you will have a quite good understanding of new features and thus be able to use the new language features at work.

A good course to get an overview about all the new ABAP features of rel. 7.4/7.5. The examples in the assignments could be a bit more sophisticated. Perhaps you can offer a 2nd optional task for experienced ABAP developers.

This is a well structured course that covers all the necessary syntax adjustments to transition from pre-7.4 ABAP to post-7.4 and 7.5 ABAP. Clear explanations supported with easy to understand examples. Thank you Anshuman!

It would be 5 stars if there would be decent subtitles.. I don't understand why this is missing in most of the Udemy courses.

It's a good overview of the new ABAP syntax features together with examples. I would appreciate to have the code snippets available to download.

It was great to see a few things there that I didn't know about. It's a shame there's no downloadable summary of the things taught of the new features. That would have been fantastic

this is a excellent course and easy to understand but when i was listening to your video then I caught a little bit noisy and voice was not clear so that for me, It is difficult to understand anyway I saw again that video and I understood what you said in that and you need to improve the way of explaining, I mean audience will get clearly and finally I loved this course and keep learning :)

A lot of the time it is hard to understand the presenter due t opoor and changing audio quality. code from assignments cannot be copied to SAP ABAP editor cleanly. need to spend some time checking what did not pass through properly (dashes being removed due to PDF thinking it's a separated word. dot at the end can not be selected. a comment that stretched over 2 lines was copied onto 2 lines meaning that the second wasn't commented ant threw an error)

Only thing I did not like is that the trainer is typing the old syntax code and then deleting and changing the code for new syntax. It could be better if he could have commented the old syntax, copied it again and then changed it so that we could see both codes at the same time and compare it, other than that everything is good.

the audio recording is not in good quality. but if you really listen to what he's saying or what he's trying to explain, you can understand easily what he want you to learn. Thank you for this clearer instruction and explanation.

His English is very poor and slow. On 1.5 speed it was a bit better. Also, it is a very bad point that he read the slides...everyone can read the slides themselves, it is not teaching.

The sound quality could be better. Sometimes there were disturbing background noises and the speaker sounds sometimes with a reverbaration which makes it more difficult to understand.
