Students will learn the interconnection of fourteen spiritual paths.

Why take this course?

A Seminole County Florida based peace initiative has created this course that is at the forefront of an emerging new paradigm of conscious inclusion. With a focus on unity through Radical Ecumenism, this course clearly illustrates that in open sharing and harmonious dialogue our differences hold unlimited potential for uniting people of all faiths.

In this time of extraordinary shift and evolution, we have come together to create a presentation of the essential tenets of fourteen major spiritual traditions, or sacred paths. The goal and intention of the Harmony Project is to provide a learning platform for those who wish to grow stronger in the practice and demonstration of their own faith while honoring and appreciating the sacred in other spiritual paths.

This course is an audio lectures series of the following sacred paths...

I had looked into the Bahai faith when I was questioning my own path in life. It is a very open and intelligible stance on a word together..

I was going to give this free course a 5-Star until I have listen to a brief description of African Spirituality. Africa is a continent full of different countries and cultures. Africa itself is not a country and usually spoken about as if it is. There are different African beliefs within different African countries. So, when the narrator had spoken on the topic briefly (as if their beliefs are not as important as other religious and cultural beliefs), the information was presented falsely. I have read numerous books on African cultural beliefs and spirituality. If the information comes from an African author, an African elder, and African traditionist, and African spiritualist or healer, and so forth, the information stems true. When the information is presented by outside sources, the information tends to lean on more of a perspective than facts. If you want the truth about African spirituality, it is best to get books, videos, and such from an African who specializes in the subject matter. Trust me, the information is factual, extremely interesting, eye opening information, there will be a greater understanding about the culture, and respect will be given.

I met a group of Bahai on the beach in York Beach, Maine. They had a bonfire and I enjoyed their fellowship. Later, I went to their worship center in Eliot, Maine. They were loving, accepting, and welcoming to me!

There was a lot of information presented but it was literally someone just reading off long stories of each spiritual path with one picture shown the entire time. The course would be much more engaging if there were slides to accompany different parts of each story, especially since several of the spiritual paths involved names and terms that were difficult to understand. It would be helpful to see those things on the screen and to have the variety in visual aids. Although I am offering constructive criticism of the presentation of the course, I am appreciative of the objective of the course and the information that was shared.

I am a visual learner and would appreciate more visual stimulation. I would ask that you consider all learning styles in your next sessions.

This course is fantastic for learning things about different religions and belief systems that I previously didn't know giving a much greater understanding between them.
