The content of this course is the result of staffing and recruiting sales innovation, trial and error, experimentation, long hours and extremely motivating 'Why Power' (ie: supporting my family of 6).

A breakdown of my 5 year journey:

Started at a small boutique staffing firm in 2011 and stayed for a year-- billed $250K, 61 permanent placements
Moved on to a large multinational IT recruitment firm-- was awarded top permanent recruiter honors 3 out of my 6 months. Was fastest person in company history to opt for full commission, discontinuing salary draw.
Became an independent recruiter under the umbrella of a larger network and built my own small office of 5 recruiters working under me.
In 2014 I founded LyrGroup, a staffing agency specializing in Engineering, Labor, and Administration.
Sold LyrGroup in 2016.
Have worked remotely since 2015 while travelling with my family.

Yes it was, learned a lot even though i wanted to know more about business development in the recruitment industry and how to win clients. Most of the recruitment tools mentioned we do not use them in South Africa.

I think this course is for beginners in recruitment business. If you are working for 1-3 years you will know all that staff. There are very few examples from real life, and a lot of theory.

The Damage Control section details some unethical practices, including blaming people who don't exist within your company when one of your candidates does not work out with a client. This is not the way to conduct business or build trust with your customers.

This is a great course that is packed full of useful content. In fact, as I was listening and taking notes, the thought occurred to me that Ryan should write a book. He presents the material in a very organized, professional way. The bottom line is Ryan is worth listening to. He thinks outside the box, and I'm sure this will give anyone willing to put some of this to use a real advantage. This is the second course from Ryan I've signed up for and I've checked the Firm Founders website out, so I know he's the real deal. I can't wait for the next course!
