I picked this course as it was one of the shorter ones (fewer lessons) than many of the other ReactJS courses. And yet I thought it provided more detail than I expected so I am very pleased with the content. In particular, I really appreciated the sections on CRUD (using axios), react-loader-spinner which looked cool, Material Design from mui.com, routing and Hooks. While I was glad to see CRUD covered the course did not mention actual database back-end alternatives. So, in the spirit of the instructor who wants us to do homework and research, I found some back-ends you could use with ReactJS are FireBase, NodeJS, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, PRISMA, etc. One thing I found missing was any example of using JQuery with ReactJS. But JQuery itself would be outside the scope of this course and it is easy enough to google how to integrate JQuery with ReactJS.

I found that some of the core-course material, as in the actual subject of a lesson, was outdated and non-functional. This was easily solved by googling the issue. A second issue was not as easily solved. I messaged the instructor to inform him and was very disappointed to get the tired answer that it is good to learn how to debug (troubleshoot) using google. When the issue is the "fault" of the student it can be a good way to learn. It is not an excuse to be lazy about leaving bad information intact. Nor do I need lessons in how to use Google to troubleshoot itself. I have programmed for 26 years.

What a beautiful course! I was able to get up running with react. I even added my own functionality to the todo list project! I added a "check complete" button that crosses off the task when done, and unchecks it when clicked again, including all of the localStorage code to go with it. I love the concept of a six hour course containing everything you need to get up and running with the technology. Please make more courses and I will be on the lookout for them. May I suggest an "all you need" course on creating a backend for react? Maybe Next.js or something? Great course and great instructor!
