Quarry Design 101

The overall course is great and concise but I couldn't practice since I'm using older Micromine 11. Hopefully, more courses are practical to field use. Thanks you Mining Geologist.

Although the tutorial is great and informative, the problem with me is , I'm using an older version of the software. I find it really hard to follow the steps per discussion because for 1, the software we're using is different and 2, going through all these discussions without prior knowledge about the software. I was hoping for a tutorial using Micromine 11.0 if possible. Nevertheless, the course can easily be understood.

1) The course is very interesting 2) May be that its structure is less better that the course of Open Pit Design 3) I think that a video would be introduced about the geology, structure, and rock mechanics within the quarry before starting the design the quarry. So, the video of calculating ore body and waste volumes seem to be parachuted. 4) Some details would be added for designing road haulage. The path for down to top is not clear. 5) Otherwise, the trainer is excellent . He speaks clearly and slowly . I like so much his courses.

Excellent learning experience and worth to get new knowledge and skill. Looking forward for many more
