Why take this course?

In this course, you will gain a good understanding and knowledge about fundamentals of qualitative research. In this course, my aim is to teach you, both the theory, including different types of interviews and interview questions, and practice - including Postpositivist Worldview, Constructivist Worldview and Transformative Worldview. Moreover, we will learn about different research design like Phenomenology, Ethnography, Grounded Theory and Narrative Inquiry. Research Problem, Theoretical Framework development, conducting literature review and Sample Selection are cores of this course.

While doing so, I also point to specific sources in the literature, so that you can find them and support your arguments with academic references.

Tell teaching was good but it would have been great if learners were given some questions to help them recap the sessions. The material could atleast be made accessible to learners even after completion of the course for reference.

The material was fast but informational. I wish there were more examples and references with in the content and slides. Otherwise it read much like a book or write up would have and less like a course.

This was more informative than I have learnt in my previous psychology course. It would have been even more beneficial for me to know about this before, because there were lot of information I had trouble with, specifically writing the literature review and generally what kind of qualitative research would work for my research topic. the only issue I have is that the rate of speech is too slow to take in the information, so I had to resort to speeding the video up to 1.5x the normal.
