This course would be hard for beginners to follow is it jumps from subject to subject and leaves a lot of details out that beginners wouldn't know.

This course is a very good intro to Glue in my opinion. It introduced what Glue does, crawlers, ETL jobs. Demonstrated how to extract data from different sources, make various transformation with pyspark script, and load data. language is clear and slides simple but to the point. Would have liked to see more examples with other options that were mentioned but not demonstrated like how to create ETL jobs with python shell, or how to connect to different databases. Overall, a very good & useful course!

1. Only Basics have been covered 2. Good for beginners to AWS Service 3. It would have been better if an end to end flow of a real world problem is discussed 4. ETL on Streaming data has not been covered

This is one of the best, simple to the point among all the glue Tutorials I have taken. The course is short but really teaches you the basics and your will learn the fundamentals of AWS Glue. It will tell you what the Glue Crawler is, what is its purpose, what is the Glue Data Catalog and what it does. It teaches you the Glue Connection and when you need to use it. I can go on and on and on. The instructor is very brilliant walking you thru the Glue fundamentals. and this is all you need, Fundamentals on AWS Glue, so you can take it to the next level in writing Terraform scripts and automate all this to IAC ( Infra as a code). Wholeheartedly, I would recommend this course to anyone wants to delve into AWS Glue. Thanks . Mathew K.

My goal for this course was to see the bigger picture without wasting time, which is what I accomplished. Provides only what is needed to begin to see how the parts of the system work together, and how I would solve some of my ETL problems with Glue instead of using other technologies. This worked as an effective shortcut, which is exactly what I wanted.
