This PowerPoint 2016 Foundation course, as the name implies is aimed at beginners. People who have little or no experience of using PowerPoint 2016.
The course starts by showing you how to create a Presentation and then moves on to show how to manipulate slides and use the built-in in PowerPoint Design Themes. We then explore Font and Paragraph Formatting techniques within PowerPoint 2016.

As a beginner, the instructor goes through at a good pace with many follow along examples. This sets the framework for more advanced PowerPoint courses.

Excellent & informative introduction to PP 2016, explaining what is possible and how to do it. Presenter's style, terminology & accent is more suitable to native English speakers - but anyone with reasonable English will benefit enormously.

A few technical mistakes (use of [ and ] -- at one point David says [ is used to decrease size when he meant to say ]). His image frequently blocks what he's talking about. Infrequently he selects an option without explaining why he's selecting it especially in the last few sections.

You should be able to voew this before you purchase a course. It tells you waht to expect to learn in the course and who it is dorected to.

This course gives a very good overview of PowerPoint for beginners. The instructor gave many examples of the useful features of the program. I enjoyed this course and look forward to learning more about how to use PowerPoint at an advanced level.

After 1 lecture, the course appears very interesting. However, the instructor needs to speak up. At times, his voice seems to "fade into the distance" and he becomes very hard to hear, even with my volume setting turned up.

Even though I am not a computer beginner, I love the fact that the course does not make any assumptions, and I have already learned a few tricks of the trade which apply across applications.
I love the rather short length of the segments which enable me to go and practice just that particular component.

I guess I expected the instructions to show how to begin a NEW presentation. I guess one has to crawl before walking. Looking forward to the rest of the presentation.

The teacher explains things very clearly and carefully repeats the steps. I have had some experience with PowerPoint in the past but wanted a refresher. It went a little slow for me in the beginning, but turned out to be very helpful. I see some of his tips will be useful in MSPublisher, and Word also. I'm glad I took this course. I will continue with his advanced course. Looking forward to that!

The first few videos I watched were not all powerpoint specific. As I went through more if the videos, there was powerpoint specific material. There was still a lot of non-powerpoint specific material, for example most, if not all of the formatting information was the same as one uses on Word and Excel, although I must say the I did learn a couple of shortcuts that will be useful. Maybe my expectation was too high since I have used ppt. in the past but do not consider myself an intermediate user. Maybe the parts I have not seen yet will be more helpful to me. One great feature on this website is the option to change the speed at which both the video and the audio are palyed back. I found 1.5 times the original speed is a good pace. Will update this review after I go through more videos.
