The Power Shape Layers

This course should be the first one when learning to work with After Effects. I followed lots of courses since one year but no one is so clear and so deep about shapes layers. The lessons are very weel structured, very well explained and understandable (even when not speaking english flluently). Having a so deep understanding of how shapes work and are organised has made my mind more free, so more creative. Before having finished the course, I noticed I was more efficient and quick in using AE. Thanks a lot Mr Professor, can't wait until your next course !

First caught Jeff on YouTube and loved the fact that he goes into explaining not just the how but the why. For me, when I understand the underlying reason for something, understanding the how becomes much easier. Jeff is a great instructor

I have to say I have been working in AE on and off for the last 10 years but never really had a good grasp of shape layers and how they could be utiltised to create some really cool looking animation. Jeff's tuition and great tutorials have been a game changer for me and I would recommend any budding motion designers watch this course.

This course is for beginners who do not have any idea of how these tools works and what they do. For an advance learner I do not recommend this course. I suggest to include some complex project in this course so that it is helpful in getting a better idea about the tools

I really like the pace this course moves at, and how well each concept is broken down. Jeff is a really great teacher. I have been dabbling in after effects for years, but this is the first time I feel like I have a solid, from the ground up understanding of how to create interesting animations.

The tutor is clearly very knowledgeable and explains the process very well. I have been using AE for many years, but never come across this type of workflow, so I am very intrigued to carry on with the course and learn this different method for using AE. Totally recommend to anybody new or old to AE, as you're bound to pick up some very useful tips and tricks to assist your workflow.

One of the best courses out there that delves into the power of shape layers with Adobe After Effects. This course gave me insights on what I can do with the shape layers in After Effects without resulting to importing shapes from Illustrator. I found this course informative, and I like his style of teaching. Actually, found him from his YouTube channel which has helpful tutorials. Thanks for creating this course.

I've got this course after watching Jeff's youtube tutorials. This one for a very beginner and is overloaded of the unnecessary repetitions. It seems to me Jeff tried to expand the course length with the same content. In part, did not meet my expectations, though had some good material.

Very Good Course to have an indepth knowledge about Shape Layers. It gives confidence after this course.

Teacher is a master in shape layers. but he should talk slowly because English in not my first language.it takes time to understand that what he talking but anyway subtitle is more helpful to understand to what's going on the screen, well he has good knowledge about the subject everyone who want to learn the power of shape layer they should enroll in this class really helpful.

I agree with another commenter that there is a lot of repetition. To be honest, you'll get a lot more from the YouTube channel he does (7MinuteAETutorials).
