It is helpful to understand the 12 Agile Principles and 4 values, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the development team, product owner, and scrum master. It is also important to understand the various activities and artifacts used in agile methodologies, such as sprints, daily scrums, iteration/sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming, and the product backlog, sprint backlog, and increments.

In addition to this exam, it is also recommended to practice with a set of 900 questions, which are divided into six sets and include a full explanation of each correct response along with a PMBOK reference. This set also allows you to review your knowledge areas separately when doing your review. If you receive a score below 75% on this exam, it is important to continue practicing and studying in order to improve your skills and increase your chances of success on the actual PMP exam.
