Covers the PMBOK, Agile, and PMI's New Exam Content Outline in detail

Why take this course?

This exam is designed to prepare you for the PMP certification exam, which is based on the PMBOK 7th Edition and Agile Practice Guide. It is intended to be more challenging than the actual exam in order to help you get used to testing under pressure. This is done on purpose to ensure that you are well-prepared for the real exam and feel confident in your ability to succeed.

To use this exam to its fullest potential, it is important to engage in thorough analysis of your performance. This includes reviewing each question you got wrong and understanding the root causes of any mistakes you made. You may need to study a number of new subjects in order to fully prepare for the PMP exam, including servant leadership, personality indicators, minimum viable product (MVP), agile/hybrid/predictive methodologies, measurement of training outcomes, and project compliance. It is recommended to use the resources provided by PMI, such as the PMBOK and Agile Practice Guide, as well as conducting additional research online to increase your knowledge of these subjects.

A score of 80% is required to pass this exam, but it is important to remember that this exam is not a guarantee of your performance on the actual PMP exam. Even if you do not pass this exam, it is important not to lose motivation and to continue studying and working to improve your skills. Instead, use this exam as an opportunity to identify your knowledge gaps and focus on strengthening your weak points. It is recommended to spend at least 10 hours reviewing each question after completing the exam, making notes and analyzing your mistakes to help you better understand where you need to focus your studies.

In addition to practicing with this exam, it is also recommended to carefully read and understand the latest editions of the PMBOK, Agile Practice Guide, and Scrum guides. It is helpful to print out the PMBOK document outlining the 5 process groups, 10 knowledge areas, and 49 processes and to read it regularly. It is also beneficial to download the PMBOK outline document from the PMI website and establish a daily reading schedule. It is important to understand the purpose of each of the 33 project papers and how they are used in the project life cycle.

It is also important to learn about the various tools and techniques used in project management, including those for data collection and analysis. It is helpful to understand the 12 Agile Principles and 4 values, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the development team, product owner, and scrum master. It is also important to understand the various activities and artifacts used in agile methodologies, such as sprints, daily scrums, iteration/sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming, and the product backlog, sprint backlog, and increments.

In addition to this exam, it is also recommended to practice with a set of 900 questions, which are divided into six sets and include a full explanation of each correct response along with a PMBOK reference. This set also allows you to review your knowledge areas separately when doing your review. If you receive a score below 75% on this exam, it is important to continue practicing and studying in order to improve your skills and increase your chances of success on the actual PMP exam. Best of luck on your PMP exam in 2023
