leaves out effects of wall buckling and thermal buckling which WILL lead to disaster if not analyzed separately with a finite element program capable of higher order non-linear buckling. customer service is absolutely hostile, arrogant, condescending, rude if you need some clarification or add'l technical basis. As a designer of hundreds of process plants, I STRONGLY DISCRECOMMEND. Yes Dr. Matveev, it is YOUR course and your own marketing manager and sales department who were condescending and arrogant. Of course, your reply is no different, completely dismissing my awful experience and making no offer to investigate your poor business practices. And why don't you disclose adequate WARNINGS as to the limitations of your program??

This is the most elaborate, comprehensive course on piping system & stress analysis(among many) that I have seen/purchased. 40 lectures in 25 long hours with trove of information is as comprehensive as it can get. USP of the course is its Presentation, which keeps the attention captivated. This course has 3 Heros, the Software, the Content & the Presenter. The software (START-PROF) allows piping modelling in innumerable ways, every type of model imaginable can be developed. It has exhaustive modelling tools & aids, material data base, manufactures database & Codes’ library. 3D, 1D & FEM models are lifelike in vivid vibrant colors, Displacement & Thermal expansion simulations are real life like, vivid with variable Scale Factor. Stress status at a glance(green, yellow & red) is very useful. 360 degree rotation of model makes visualization even more appealing. HELP menu provides enormous amount of helpful explanation, literature, data & diagrams covering various aspects of the subject. Software’s ability to interact with other similar software, developing model from imported raw data is of immense help. The detailed description for each step is good. However, if someone is looking for the intricacies of why and when, this course might not present the same. Although that doesn’t seem to be the purpose of the course, it would be amazing if the engineering reasons for doing something is described in the course as well. Again, the training itself is excellent and easy to follow!!

Hi Alex The software and your lectures explaining the theory behind Piping Stress Analysis are simply superb. You have explained many complex concepts in a manner that is understandable even to fresh engineers. I have used CAESER, TRIFLEX and SIMFLEX pipe stress Analysis software in my early days of professional engineering. It is an extensive and complete course. In my personal opinion, while some topics may be complex for new piping stress engineers, it gives them a glance of what other subjects we must explore and learn during our professional career. Additionally, for those with vast experience, it reinforces what is already known. I am 100% sure that there is something new to learn from this course for everyone.
