This course uses Pilates, yoga and other therapies to help you live a life free from back pain.  Pilates is widely recognised as a means of correcting muscle imbalances and improving posture, crucial for the health of your spine.  The majority of my clients see an improvement within the first 3 or 4 weeks of starting this program.

Josie is a wonderful instructor. I have purchased a number of her courses, and they are easy to follow, although not necessarily easy to do. I mean that in a positive way. They take practice, but so worth the time and effort. I’ve come back to this course more than once, and it’s one of my favorites.

I have followed this programme and am now a few weeks into Phase 3. It has relieved my back considerably and I am so much more flexible as well. Thank you Josie. I will continue with Phase 3 for a while longer and then go on and do your Mat class.

So far so good like everything by this instructor! If you have done the classical mat sequence pilates course this if a must because you WILL have clients with back problems who attend your classes in the future. She really slows things down and gives different ways to check that you are in the correct positions.

Wonderful course. It took me quiet short time to finish, as I am not currently in back pain and I have been doing pilates with Josie for some time now, so I was able to go through the lessons without need to take my time to recover from the acute attack of pain. I like the way it can take you slowly through the stages of your back pain problems from the very begining. As a medical doctor working with long-term ill patients I can see, that this is one thing we are usually lacking in managment of the patients. Because medical help can get you only part of the way. Drugs can help in the acute phase, but the only way to prevent reccurency is to actually do something yourself, to strengthen the core muscles, work on your muscle imbalances, stretch shortened muscles and tendons and improve your posture. Josie makes a great job of learning you how to do it - in your own time, at home, without a need to travel and pay hundreds of euros for personal lessons /and without improper suggestions trying to convince you that she can do everything - she is professional enough to always highlight conditions needing personalized professional health-care/. Recommended!
