Why take this course?

WHAT IS THIS COURSE ABOUT?

Welcome to a course on Number Theory, better called “Higher Arithmetics” or “Queen of Mathematics”. This course will guide you and enable you to master fundamental topics in Number Theory.

Number theory is the study of patterns, relationships, and properties of numbers. Studying numbers is a part theoretical and a part experimental, as mathematicians seek to discover fascinating and unexpected mathematical relationships and properties. In this course, you will explore some of those fascinating mathematical relationships and properties and you will learn essential topics that are in the heart of Mathematics, Computer Science, and many other disciplines.

YOU WILL ALSO GET:

  1. Lifetime Access

  2. Q&A section with support

  3. Certificate of completion

  4. 30-day money-back guarantee

HOW IS IT DELIVERED?

I know visually seeing a problem getting solved is the easiest and the most direct way for a student to learn so I designed the course keeping this in mind. The materials are delivered mostly through videos to make complex subjects easy to comprehend. More details on certain lessons are delivered through text files to provide more explanations or examples. The course is taught in plain English, away from cloudy, complicated mathematical jargons and that is to help the student learn the material rather than getting stuck with fancy words.

HOW DO I LEARN BETTER?

There are quizzes after each section so you can test your knowledge and see how much of the material has sunk in. I suggest you go through each lesson several times to better understand the content.

This is a very good class. Learning number theory from a practical perspective can help you learn it from a more difficult perspective down the road.

Informative and well-organized course. I really like Miran's way of explanation; it is super simple and to the point. I am waiting for a new course in linear algebra.

Thank you Mr. Miran Fattah for this wonderful math course. I may not be able to use the material in this course to my current job, but the material in this course is very interesting to me. I had a very wonderful time learning from you. Math material is usually "dry" and it can be difficult to teach. Mr. Fattah has done a wonderful job in presenting the material and showing the examples. I enjoy this course very much and I look forward to Mr. Fattah's other courses. Thank you.

Overall it's good for understanding or revisit the fundamental concepts. I gave 4/5 because I believe some lectures are unnecessary long.

For those of us that need to SEE written examples to learn effectively, the instructor doesn't provide any. He just explains verbally and we need to articulate the information in our heads. When your learning the basics in math it is very important to understand the concepts presented, the instructor needs to utilize different methods of instruction to reach all of us. Such as, showing written examples, charts, graphs, video etc. Not all of us learn by listening alone!!!

Gave a very nice introduction to Number Theory. Moreover all the topics were covered with proper examples to illustrate each and every one of them.

My experience is that I must slow the video down to 75% in order for me to understand better. I usually listen and then take notes. I stop the video and try to work the problems. After I complete it, I check it against the instructor's answer. If I made a mistake, I watch the video again until I understand. Miran is an excellent teacher. Fortunately, I can slow down the pace because I'm a slow learner but this course is awesome.

La explicación es muy clara. Pero cuando dice: Even + Even y escribe 2n + 2n Da la impresión que deben sumarse dos pares IGUALES. Sería mejor (desde mi punto de vista) Even1 + Even2 2n + 2m = 2(n + m) y n + m es un entero, porque n y m son enteros

I learned a lot and I appreciated the course. The instructor sometimes goes through the material quite quickly without much elaboration or many examples, so I often had to hit pause and think about what he'd just said, or sometimes I'd have to replay what his said a couple of times. Still, i eventually got most of the material pretty well. I really appreciated the times when he used several clear examples to illustrate things. I learn much better with those.

Taking this course for fun. Interesting beginning. I like the teacher. I should learn a lot and be able to apply what I learn to my work as a computer programmer.

Nice course. I enjoyed learning about the number theory. I would have liked it better if the theorem's would be prooved. Surely it would take more time, and maybe some people would skip it, but I would have liked it much better. I came to learn about these things because I want to trust in the math of encryption not the people who create it. So I wanted to see all those things proven mathematically and not just illustrated with examples that fit. Also some of the explanations were very fast and I then had to look this stuff up on the internet, while other simple concepts were explained in detail. Latstly I would've liked more depth in the last part about encryption. For example why is (in Diffie-Hillman) ( ((g to n)mod p ) to m)mod p = ((g to m)mod p ) to n)mod p ? We did some operations, and exponetiation in modulo, but I did not find a proof or explanation on this. I can calculate it with some numbers, and see that it matches.... but still .. Anyway, I learned some good stuff, and with that gained a basis for further exploration. Thanks!
