The course covered a lot of ground without getting too deep on any one topic. It included explanations of many well known models and tools and had a lot of practical advice tips (100) many of which are immediately implementable. Mike has identified 25 things that people who are new to a leader / manager role can work on to kick-start their development.

I particularly appreciate that the lessons are broken down into bite-sized chunks and that Mike breaks the lessons down into lists of tips and tricks. It might be helpful to give examples of different conversations (e.g., calling out bad behavior) to put the tips and tricks into a larger context.

I like the Oats acronym I think it really puts time management in perspective in general not just new managers. His approach is very calm. I think that the way he explains things makes it clear for the real-life application.

I am currently an Acting Team Leader and noticed a bit of undermining from the team when I started however there are tips in here that have made me aware that some of the reasons the team undermined me was because of my lack of time management

I loved this course. It's very valuable, especially the parts about helping your employees to make the jump from ok to excellent, and also motivating by breaking up TASKs into chucks so they feel good at the end of the day.
