I have osteoporosis and I learned a lot about the importance of vitamins, minerals and hormones to reverse osteoporosis.

At Lesson 6: I would expect more detail on what I can do reverse osteoporosis. So far I have not learned much. Maybe later you will tell me what steps I can take. I finished the course but, overall, I was looking for more specific content on what I can do to reverse osteoporosis which would include exercises other than yoga which I think may be more damaging to your spine than other more "safe" exercises. Furthermore, I am surprised that you did not include more information about osteoporosis in men and at least a comparison in the levels between men an women. There was no mention of weight bearing exercises which has been proven as a means of reversing osteoporosis. Reviewing chart after chart of your patients was inspiring, but not useful to me. Sorry, but I'm disappointed.

I learned so much about osteoporosis, both why it happens and how to take steps to resolve it. I thoroughly appreciated seeing actual test results and being given the information on what the numbers *should be, so you can learn to interpret your own results to see the progress you are making. I appreciate that Dr. Purser takes a natural approach, and strongly encourages you to take control of your health, work with a knowledgeable doctor and not let yourself get pushed around by the insurance companies. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone who is struggling with this diagnosis! Two thumbs up....way up!
