I have been administering Moodle for eight years, so have the information provided in this course. For someone just starting out, it might be worth taking, but is about 11 versions behind - current Moodle version is 3.11 and 4.0 just came out.

Ok course for beginners, but misleading description! There is by far not 9h video-content, over half(!) of this time is reading text. 4h+ are assigned to a pdf not created by the author and freely available on the internet.
Other parts are for Moodle-Administrators or outdated (marked as not to be used, but not deleted). So the relevant video-content for pure educator's without admin-role is a mere 2h, not more and this should be indicated more clearly.

The explanations are good, and cover since the very basics. It provides an overall view of Moodle, deeper on some aspects and shallower on others. The pace is slow, and the english accent on the videos is strong, what make them quite tiring to listen to, after some time.

I enjoyed the course although at some points I would get distracted. I wish it could be a practical course with an actual "hands on" feel.

Describing how to login into a web tool or how to change profile details is not moodle related. This is content for a basic basic basic course about how using the internet. Waste of time. Hope I will find information which I do't know yet in this course.

What is shown is good in that the ideas are explained in a personable and easy to understand way. The issues that made me knock the rating down is the depth isn't there for what I would consider a master course. I'd like to be able learn to use Moodle activities and resources in depth. I'd like to go into the creating the different plug ins and imports. I'd also like for the number of hours of video claimed in the course description, at this time 8.5 hours to actually be 8.5 hours of video. Maybe the course is a work in progress, for which I'll happily re-rate the course once it's been completed. It's just not clear to me if that's the case.

This explanation is simple, clear and intuitive. I love it. I am using a rasberry PI to host some stuff, to prove concept where I work. This is going to make my life a breeze.

A lot of pdf's and reading material "largely compatible" with version 3 - not the usual style of udemy courses. Would be better if the course was taught end to end rather than expecting the student to read a large percent of it.

Very Clear and organized instruction... If you are learning moodle this is one of the the best of courses ever to get you started. Moodle has a ton of functions but Srikanth nailed down the most commonly used functions. I am looking forward to the Administration Course. I can highly recommend this course as a refresher or to the beginner.

I was a bit disappointed at the start as the Administration was not fully covered. But as I started going through the lesson, I was very impressed as the material covered is a must read for anyone using Moddle in any capacity.

I found this course excellent. It was my introduction to Moodle after trying to figure it out for myself. The instructor used clear detailed explanations with appropriate visuals to make all instruction clear.
Added bonus to the Moodle instruction were the lectures on installing Apache, PHP, MySQL and Moodle on a localhost.
