It is very good. Very nicely explained. However, I would like to state that the current version of moodle is 3.8.2, while this training is on 3.1. It is better to upgrade this course as well.

As a Moodle Administrator, there were several particular points I was aware of the the instructor picked up on that are problems that he was able to articulate, e.g., the backup and restore function with issues using phpmyadmin and timeouts. Finding the folders and files to manipulate timeouts was great. Also, the upgrading php linked information in the course is great info. As is other mentions like teacher only being to backup empty shells, no student data, cron scheduler (want more), and setting up totally different or tiered servers-- not sites on the same server. The important point some using Moodle may not be aware of are the checkpoints for upgrades, i.e., you cannot be too far behind if upgrading from an older version to a more current version, e.g., more than two version is what I use; definitely not several. The whole email, self-registration, and payment integration was well appreciated and done.These are all important mentions!

The courses is extremely interesting. The only worry I have is how to integrate other payment options in addition to Paypal. This is very critical because I am thinking of the Moodle LMS for commercial use as well.

I was hoping for more advanced features like LTI Integration examples or concrete examples of other authentication methods... or creating own Category/Course Templates or Plugins... maybe understand a bit more the Moodle Architectureit is also a lot shortert than the first course...

The course appears to be at the correct level I require to move forwards. There is very little repetition of topics that I already familiar with but getting things right from the beginning. I would like to see discussion on both LDAP and external database enrollments. They could also be clear differentiation between authentication and enrollment methods.

Very educative, detailed and comprehensive. however, some section does not have exercises which is important to access and examine one understanding on the subject matter, this can be design to permit one to do or skip as done at the beginning of the course. I have gained alot in the area of moodle administration

The author discusses various concepts about upgrading Moodle but does not even discuss how to take all the changes from a development/testing environment into a production environment. This is extremely important to me. I don't want to have to write down every change during dev/test just so I can then log on to the production server and make those same changes. He mentioned Git in the overview of the technology stack but then never discussed how to incorporate it into a workflow. Also, some of the material was duplicate from the beginner course.

I learned things in a logical sequence, with simple illustrations. In the past, I have been exposed to some of this information in no particular sequence, and I didn't know what was important to know or to do in my own situation. During this course, I learned many valuable new lessons, some of which will even help me beyond my Moodle admin role. Inter alia, I have decided to do a bit of studying on CPanel. The course will help me to make decisions with discernment. I intend to return to the course and to go through most of the material again as I create the plans for our new Moodle site. The presenter of this course is engaging and supportive. This has been an extremely valuable course for me.
