Are you looking to learn how to design realistic interior renders in Blender? Are you struggling on getting your materials to look real? In this course we will be creating a modern interior in Blender from start to finish. I will be showing you step by step on how to model the room, texture it, add in professionally made models and more.

In the first section we discuss the basics of interior design. We talk about color schemes and why certain colors go well together. In the next section we start creating the room by modeling it and getting the dimensions just right. We will also learn about the Archimesh addon and how to easily add in a window.

After that, we move onto materials and models. You will learn how to model and texture a modern couch and how to simulate a blanket falling down on it. In this course I am giving away 15 different professionally made models in which we use to fill up our scene.

The last section we focus on the camera and getting the right position and depth of field. Once the render is finish we jump right into the compositor and make the render stand out! What about a night time version of the render? Yup, there is also a video on that. We will learn how to light the scene properly and add in some volumetrics to create a cool effect!

As a bonus section we will also render the scene using Eevee! In this section you will learn all about how Eevee works, how to bake lighting and how to render an interior the right way using this render engine.

The course is probably well-made, but I'll leave a low rating because, in my opinion, it's not suitable for those with no prior experience in Blender. It moves too quickly and assumes too much. I often have to pause the video and backtrack, and unfortunately, some steps are not intuitive. I've decided to quit after less than an hour.

It was an outdated version of Blender that the instructor used throughout the entire course. The most of provided resources were paid materials now on Texture.com. So it needs to be updated. The course itself was good so it's disappointing with these matter.

*Update Below* It's hard to know where to put this course. If it was billed as intermediate level, maybe I wouldn't feel a little mislead. The instructor goes through a lot of things FAST. You won't really learn blender just doing what he says to do without any explanation. The major hit though, is the textures he wants you to use. As others have mentioned, it feels like a trick to have to buy something that should have been included in the course. Big mistake. I won't do it, so either I attempt with my own files, or I just stop doing and just watch. All in all be forewarned you'll hit this point at about 15% completion. I really want this person/course to succeed, so hopefully they take the critique as constructive. UPDATE: After completing the first major part of the course and getting feedback from the instructor I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars. The texture issue is being fixed, and more explanations are coming in an update which I look forward. I'll also say I really appreciate how certain things in the course are structured. One example, to expedite things you get some of the models pre-made, but if after the main lesson is done you would like to go back and learn how they are made, you can. I think this is an excellent way to handle the course. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

The course is quite outdated; only half of it has been revised for the new Blender, while the other half remains unchanged. It's difficult to even recognize whether it's related to Blender or not. Furthermore, the first texture zip doesn't contain any textures, and when you attempt to access them, texture.com attempts to sell them to you.

Very basic modeling, without any detail, poorly organized course and most of the resources are missing. This is the first time I haven't completed a course on Udemy.

比較的新しいバージョンの Blender でコースを進めていましたが、ほぼ問題なくレッスンをこなすことが出来ました。ただ、レッスンで使われている Blender のバージョンと最近の Blender では、Cycles によるシェーディング結果が異なるので、その点は工夫するする必要がありました。

This was really perfect, I use MAYA for most of my work but people are shifting to blender as they are free. And the most annoying part that I found in blender is the navigation and now since I emulated the middle mouse, I can now use the navigation keys like I use in MAYA

The course just rambles on too quick. It assumes you know all about shotcut keys. It does not pay any attention to the menu items provided, but just races ahead using shortcuts which are used by professionals. This is a really bad introduction to Blender, and I have a mind not to continue, and to ask for my money back. It is not an educational course...they don't stop to teach you anything. Really bad and frustrating.

Although I am enjoying the course and there is a lot of good information, I am slightly disappointed with the couch modelling section (this is currently where I am at) I took a look at the couch that was provided in the course material, and it is massively more detailed than the one we are making during the videos, the one we are making is very basic in comparison and in my opinion doesn't really look that good, why couldn't you show us how to make the couch provided in the resources? I noticed the same issue in the Create & Design a Modern 3D House in Blender course the couch we made in the videos was also massively basic compared to the couch in the resources, I hope the videos for the other models are not very basic versions of the resource models as I was hoping to learn how to make high quality models.

Some of my key frames didn’t line up with his instructions. For example when he said to hit the end key… well I’m on Mac I don’t have an end key… shift- right click didn’t do what he said it would. Could be user error on my part tho.
