Do you want to learn a skill that can help you earn nearly $100,000 per year? If so, then this course is for you!

SQL (Structured Query Language) is the language we use to interact with databases that store data. This allows us to retrieve data with ease and simplicity. As terms like business intelligence and big data become more familiar, businesses will need more people to learn the SQL language.

This course will teach you how to use the SQL language within Microsoft SQL Server, one of the most popular database engines in the world.

You will have plenty of video lessons to teach you the majority of the content. Each section includes practice problems or additional e-books to help reinforce what you learn in the video tutorials.

I enjoyed it. I wish it would have been a little more in depth, like going over the UNION operator, etc..instead of saying look over the documentation on microsoft. However, i learned a good bit and enjoyed the content.

It's 2024 so I'm confused as to why you're telling me to install SQL 2012... After installing sql server express 2022, I couldn't attach the training DB because SSMS couldn't find it.

I found the experience to be quite positive overall. The course content was well-structured and comprehensive, covering all the topics I was interested in learning about. The instructor's teaching style was engaging and easy to follow, which helped me stay motivated throughout the course. Additionally, the hands-on exercises and quizzes provided valuable opportunities for me to apply and reinforce what I had learned. Overall, I would say that the course was a good match for me because it met my learning objectives and helped me acquire new knowledge and skills in the subject area. I feel more confident in my abilities now and I am excited to apply what I've learned.

My experience didn't start off well. The course provided limited guidance on installing SQL Server, which is crucial for the curriculum. I struggled to find SQL Server Express 2012 as instructed, and had to opt for the 2022 version. However, the installation process for this version was not covered in the course materials, leaving me without the necessary 'SQL Express' folder for data management. This lack of detailed installation instructions made it difficult for me to engage with the course content from the beginning. It's disappointing to encounter such obstacles right at the start of a course. I believe the course could be significantly improved by updating the installation guide to reflect the latest versions of SQL Server and providing step-by-step instructions for beginners. This would make the course more accessible and less frustrating for new learners.

Good course. Loved the fact that there are exercices. It's a bit old though. First few lessons should be updated for setting up newer versions of the material: AdventureWorks2022 and SSMS19. Good to know: once the setup is passed, everything in these lessons was compatible with AdventureWorks2022 and SSMS19.

A well presented and categorised course, with practice documents provided along the way encouraging students to test their knowledge first-hand. This has helped me gain a new perspective when writing queries using SQL Server as well which will certainly come in use for query writing in my future endeavours. Thank you Brewster! :)
