Da buenas bases, pero debes llegar con conocimientos previos relativamente buenos en python para no perder el hilo. Una edición posterior de los videos antes de subirlos a la plataforma se agradecería, pues está subido con algunos errores que a veces corrige en el mismo video pero es confuso seguirle el ritmo. Se aprecia el esfuerzo y conocimiento del instructor. Una actualización del curso con un guión predefinido para solucionar la barrera del idioma sería genial. Sin embargo, no he visto otros cursos que se enfoquen en poner en practica una estrategia de trading en python con MT5, así que hay que sacarle provecho.

Very very bad experience, Educator was referring to youtube, discord, etc. In this course, multiple times he said, he said I don't know how to explain it/ how to explain it in English/ if you want to know more go to this n that blah blah. His English is really bad.

Course too boring ,i thought the course will cover programming in Meta Trader 5 using Python ,but it use Python outside to connect to meta trader. Author has Language issue as English is not his main language. it will be good if the author program in Meta Trader 5 and create different types of indicators / strategies on charts

Great course, Lucas! I needed to learn the basics of using Python in MT5, and this course really lives up to its title. You take a concise approach, and where I would otherwise want more information, you point to your resources on Quantreo for me to look up. This worked well, as we could focus on the essentials of getting up and running with Python in MT5 without too much distraction. For those considering this course, a bit of knowledge and experience in forex, Python, and the MT4/5 platforms is helpful, but not necessary. If you're totally new to these concepts, just go a bit slower, pause and try to write/run the code yourself, and don't hesitate to re-watch some lectures. Whatever your level of experience, if you need to write Python for use in MT5, this course will give you what you need. If any additions/revisions are being considered, I have a few ideas that could be helpful. First, a bit more attention to backtesting strategies could be helpful, as this is an essential part of developing a strategy. Second, a bit more detail on implementing the automated strategy, along with a few examples, would really round things out. These might be covered elsewhere and are not explicitly related to connecting Python with MT5, but with money management and risk management getting plenty of coverage, including these two as well would be quite helpful. Ultimately, this was a great course and gave me exactly what I needed: How to start implementing Python code in MT5. Good job and I look forward to my next courses.

bueno pero las request tienen problemas con el order_filling_type (lo resolví colocando ORDER_FILLING_IOC según la misma documentación https://www.mql5.com/en/docs/python_metatrader5/mt5ordercheck_py#order_type_filling), por eso no le puedo dar más estrellas ya que el order_Send es casi de lo más importante.

Generally the content promised is delivered but the course creator could be more transparent on where he left his code on Github, as it is not very apparent from the course material where the code is hosted, I had to google a while before locating it.

The lesson really focused on applying what was taught, and only taught us enough to get us started with creating our algo-trading program. Did not go in depth with the technical stuff which I like since it gave me a clearer vision on what I want to achieve with my program. This is not to say that the lessons were lacking, which is not since he taught us only what was needed at the time. Maybe a minor improvement would be to add an appendix lessons for the in depth items, but I don't think it would be needed.

This is an amazing course with strong Python code for trading. I strongly recommend this course for everyone who want to run a bot on a VPS for Forex trading.
