I have completed about half a dozen Achology courses with Kain and Karen Ramsey. I have gotten a tremendous value from these courses, and this one is no exception.

I thought the CBT course was insightul but I found this one not quite what I am looking for, as a Performance Coach, I want to be validating people's feelings and I'm not sure this allows room for that. They talk about black and white thinking where this course, at times feels a little, black and white. I struggle a little with the whole "Giving advice is ignorant" whilst in the same breath they advise people to "just stop thinking" sounds like advise to me.....

It’s very relevant in the season am currently experiencing ; I’m relating well with the lessons and learning a lot in a very short time. It would be great if the presentation material is accessible on some type of format for further reference.

The instructor is very knowledgeable of what he is teaching. All the information that I am gaining from him at first seems to be foreign to me, but to be honest it all make a lot of sense. I really appreciate it because I can now better understand people when they begin to act in certain ways. My hat is off to him and I thank him.

Very interesting. Kain is a good teacher and the course is well put together with plenty of information. However, the animosity Kain shows towards the mental health field, mostly psychiatrists and counselors, was disturbing. The belittling of those with mental health "labels" was shocking. Considering this course is about mental health and wellness, Kain goes way out of line, without backing up any of his statements except to basically say, he's right, you're wrong. End of story. Neurons cause the brain to go out of whack. That's science sir. Then the animosity shifted to people who fly flags. He laughed at what he calls, "labels, conditions, and disorders. " Who's the hypocrite, "wagging fingers" towards everyone you don't approve of or agree with. The videos with Karen are boring and unnecessary. Now that I've gotten all of that off my chest, I can and will go back to my best life as I trudge through the rest of this course.

This is a great match for me, ultimately because I didn't know what to expect going in. As a person who is taking a mental health course for the first time, there are a lot of new things that I am learning that I wasn't even aware of. So far it has opened my eyes and life to a new perspective.

So far I have found the course to be insightful. I was surprised at the 4 traits of continues Mental Health, but when explained it made sense that these 4 (Maturity, Decisiveness, Consistency and Forbearance would be the fruits of a healthy mental status.

I am finding this course incredibly eye-opening and genuine. I found the delivery to be very passionate, engaging, and well thought out. I purchased the course with the hopes of improving my own well being and potentially assisting others with the same, and have been blown away with some of the lessons within this course. I highly recommend this course to every single person who has any desire to improve themselves. A true gem of a course.

Yes, definitely a good match. I began with one course by Kain Diploma in Modern Applied Psychology and went on to another On Couselling which I completed. I like his style of teaching. This course starts off by setting expectations about what one is going to learn and I like that.
