Why take this course?

WHAT IS THIS COURSE ABOUT?

Welcome to a course that will teach you different Number Base Conversions, and how to do Arithmetics in those bases.

Number bases are different ways of writing and using the same number. In this course, you will learn what we mean by number bases and you will also learn the important number bases like Base 2, 8, and 16. You will learn how to convert from base 10 to base 2, 8, and 16 and back. Also, in the end, you will learn how to convert any Base to base 10 and vise versa

Number bases are very important and one of the skills which are useful to programmers is an understanding of the relationship between number bases. When you understand how numbers are represented in base 2 (Binary), base 8 (Octal), and base 16 (Hexadecimal), you will better understand different aspects of programming.

YOU WILL ALSO GET:

  1. Lifetime Access

  2. Q&A section with support

  3. Certificate of completion

  4. 30-day money-back guarantee

HOW IS IT DELIVERED?

I know visually seeing a problem getting solved is the easiest and the most direct way for a student to learn so I designed the course keeping this in mind. The materials are delivered through videos to make the subject easy to understand.

HOW DO I LEARN BETTER?

There are quizzes after each section so you can test your knowledge and see how much of the material has sunk in. I suggest you go through each lesson several times to better understand the topics.

Great course ! If you wanted another idea, teach how to convert from any base to decimal using synthetic division, 3 related ones are the DOUBLE DABBLE, OCTAL OGLE, and HEXEL HAGGLE ! for example to convert binary 10101111 to decimal divide it by 2 the synthetic division way, Or said evaluating a binary polynomial at/by its base, 2. looks something like on paper "2_| 10101111" and final answer (f(x)=f(2) is the binary number in decimal ! The benefits are students get another use for learning synthetic division, or just learning it and not even know it, PLUS 3 catchy names, Double-dabble, Octal-Oggal, and Hexal-Haggle ! If you want to Thank ME very much you can gift Me your Pre-Calc and Trig courses (or all of them) ? Share the Wealth and knowledge right ? Otherwise, again Great course, thank You !

The "Theory of numbers" course was excellent but as far as this present course is concerned, the multiplication & division base 8 & 16 were hard to understand & their immediate relation to the binary system was not even mentioned (I mean **** in binary into bs16 & *** in binary into bs8)

I love Miran's courses. He explains everything thoroughly and clearly and actually works through multiple examples of each concept. This means that you can pause and attempt each question yourself and then have it explained, which really reinforces your learning. Thank you, Miran!
