I like that the instructor approached this course as if you knew nothing at all about Apple/Mac/iOS. Too many instructors would assume you've had Apple products for a while and skipped some things they feel should be obvious, but are not to a lot of people. He also assumed you may not know much at all about computers in general. While this could get a little boring in places, you can always skip through those parts. I'd much rather skip through than have things left out.

I took this course as a review after many years of not using a Mac. So almost all of it was very familiar but skipping through let me find a few new things and it served to clear some of the rust away.

If anyone is using Big Sur instead of Catalina, I have found this course to still be relevant minus a couple of minor details. Gary is clear, concise, and straight to the point. He doesn't go overboard or waste time. Definitely recommended for those trying to get used to the mac world.

Goes through things very fast. I will have to review a few times. Perhaps could have more in-depth information on why and how you would use a function, but overall very good intro duction.

If you are looking for a hands on experience with your new macOS catalina or if you are someone who just switched from windows to mac and wondering where to begin with, then this course is the best and the most suitable. There are some basics included in the course similar to windows that can be ignored. The course has bunch of tips, usage and very helpful demos. By the end of the course, you will have a renewed perspective on your macbook. Good luck !

It was an interesting introduction, but it was kind of limited in terms of resources, like how to go much more far with the tools or how to solve common issues that could be going on. I feel that it is a great introductory course for someone who is starting to use a mac for first time.
