Hard to tell right now- I work in a very niche market- Lawyers professional liability insurance, so our prospects are very defined already. we only sell to private practice attorneys in firms from 1 to 50 lawyers in 15 states.

Need to be a subscriber to Sales Navigator in order for about half of the content to be useful. If you are only using the free/basic mode you will not have access to some of the tools discussed

I received the opportunity to listen to a live presentation in abbreviated form before it became this video series. I can only say that the knowledge taken away from the series has greatly added to my talents in effectively reaching my prospective clients. I started with my own list of five things (as one of the first video shares) and from there, was set on a course to change the way I use Linked in. CONTENT AND KNOWLEDGE: Thorough look into the intelligent side of social interaction of LinkedIn. I'm honestly kind of embarrassed I didn't know half the stuff the course goes over. I think the content is supported with several evidences and does not make empty claims. As someone in the "relationship" industry, I think the value of what this course teaches cannot be understated if you care about reaching your intended audience. PRODUCTION: To be honest, I was more in it for the audio as I had heard the presentation from Joel before. The graphics added to my understanding. Sometimes on the minimalistic side, but always helping move forward the train of thought. I'm not an audiophile (and dont know many that do use Udemy) but I thought the sound was great. No complaints. DELIVERY: Engaging, well thought out and structured. I thought the manner and order in which every lesson was laid out made sense. The downloadable booklet made it easy to keep track of previous lessons and recall goals. SUMMARY: I believe following these steps can warm some of the coldest leads and even set fire to more than a few. I may not have had my first $100,000 deal made (like the first episode claims someone has done as a result of this training) but I'm on my way there. The timing couldn't have been better for this to have come out.

I've used LinkedIn to connect with guests for my podcast and to connect with other investors and advisors but I felt like I hit a plateau. I crossed the 500+ connections but stalled out. This training really helped me make some valuable tweaks and changes that actually made a difference. For example: Joel explained the right profile keywords to use and also how to create a stronger first impression that is longer lasting. He also shared ways to optimize my profile that will make it easier for me to connect with more influential people... and ultimately close more deals and help more people. I'm an early adopter on this and so glad I took the time to go through it. It's not hard, and all the docs are provided... just takes work like anything else that's worth it. Totally recommend to anyone who is looking to connect with influential people and especially good for people who want to be more productive in their sales cycles.
