He does not explain why we are doing things. I got an error message on this line line.new(x1 = bar_index -1, y1 = high(1), x2 = bar_index, y2 = low) When I changed high(1) to just high, it worked. I'm not sure why, but it would only work without the (1). Other than that everything was great.

The course name suggests that students know nothing about pine scripts. But the course of indicators assumes students knows the basics. Otherwise, students do not know what is going on.

This is an excellent course which helps you learn pinescript in the shortest period of time, provided you have a very basic understanding of pinescript (e.g what's a strategy,variables, operators etc) and technical indicators. I have other pinescript courses and books but they are either too long or lack practical examples. This course is different. As some people have mentioned, the text of the code may be given for all the modules. However, the candlestick patterns module alone is worth the money and time. one can get an excellent understanding of coding logic.

Some people do not have all these time to work out your code answer. You need to have text source code download for your tutorial. Otherwise it will be a pain. You cannot expect people just to follow your very boring long winded way of coding line by line. It is very un-enjoy-able to watch and follow your tutorial. I do not see how getting people coding lesson after lessons of different shape and pattern will help in term of time use to watch your video after videos, where you could of all skipping all these candle groups shape pattern by allow a text pine scipt download and no we do not want to contact you in whatapp or there mean because of pirvacy. Every other course in Udemy in term of programming almost always have lesson codes to download, however I do not know why this course do not. If you do this it will make thing very un-enjoy-able. Overall suck, because we have to watch every second of your lesson and if we make any mistake that will require us student time to fix and time is important to us. And yes, we can learn by copying, every other course do this, even in university programming lessons do allow to copy & paste full lesson codes. Only assesement or assignment have student to work out the code themselve. Is the course buy-able? For this currect state of this course, I cannot recommand anyone to buy this. So no do not buy!!! It is very eyes tiring, my feeling is in complete pain, and un-enjoy-able to watch the instuctor type line by line of codes, which he can easily let us download the code and explain how each line of code works and get on with other more important topic like stratagy coding and back testing which for many student is more important. This is unprofessional: Listening to the instructor drink something the background is very unprofessional. I do not see any, it is a complete waste of time and money. Go on with it, we student are not coding line typing followers. You will get bore with his code line typing video very easily and feel it was pointless from him forcing you to follow his code line type teaching method. Udemy must be making some mistake or error by rating this course so high when the quality of this tutorial is not very high. His seem to just thrown in more topic in, in term of candle shape pattern to pump up the tutorial lesson numbers to make it seem it was better then other, however once you go midde way in the course you start to understand this is just a complete waste of student times by force the student to follow his code line typing method of teaching.

It's much better and detail specially the indicator chapter. Chapter 6 has nothing though it has mentioned download the code. Please remove the chapter or put the code

Overall approach was very good ...practical driven ..You will definitely learn what you came for. The only comment I had for is to give more explanation. But the Author looked at my comment and contacted me the next day and explained everything I needed. for the price what you learn is gold....I highly recommend

The course content gives an overall view of the pine-script version 5 which is quite different from its older versions. Hendrik's willingness to handhold and guide, especially taking time for a short and crisp one to one advise over zoom or whats-app is quite helpful. Thank You and Cheers!!!

Overall the content is good, but the start is a little abrupt without explaining more about PineScript itself. Explain a little bit more on the functions available and documentation for greater understanding.

I recently purchased this beginner pinescript course from Hendrick and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the course. The course was entirely done through prerecorded videos, which made it easy for me to work through the material at my own pace. Hendrick did an excellent job of explaining the concepts in a way that was easy to understand, and his examples were relevant and practical. While I wouldn't say that the course was jaw dropping, I can definitely say I got my money's worth. je kan nergens code downloaden. vindt ik een beetje spijtig. nu moet je constant de les stoppen om mee te kunnen of je moet steeds print screens nemen en daarna op je eigen tempo overnemen.

Full of info, teacher sounds great and teaches well. Only negative thing I can say is the quality of Pine editor recording is low, for example can't tell difference between a = or - . I have tried 3 different screen doesnt get easier to see.

Rambling without much structure or explanation why you are doing something. Lots of "I hate this" comments as well. Not very professional

This course is really off to a great start. The creator shows expert level knowledge of the subject. He gets straight into the how, and shows every piece of code he uses, and explains very well what he is doing. It is really a pleasure to sit in on this course. All done now, and I really feel like I have learned alot of information.

Amazing course, learned so much about pine script as a beginner, It's one of the best courses I have studied and Berend's teachings are so good as well. It's a very good experience. I really loved it, highly recommend it
