This is a beginner level English class. This class focuses on the form of the simple present and the time phrases used. Students will learn some basic verb vocabulary. In each lesson, you will also learn new nouns and a few adjectives.
Pay attention to the parts of speech: noun, verb, adjective, and adverb. It is important to learn the order of words and the forms of the verbs. Also, compare the order of words in questions so you learn the rules of grammar in various situations.
The simple present is a natural starting point for beginners to the English language. The rules of simple present set a foundation for grammar and syntax (word order). The rules of simple present are true for other verb tenses when making statement and asking questions. Once you understand the details of the simple present, you can move on to simple past and simple future. I recommend learning the simple present, then the simple future and next the simple past for best results. Grammar skills are stronger when learned in this order.
Once you have mastered the simple tenses, I recommend the progressive tenses.
