Why take this course?

AdonisJs is a Node.js MVC framework and I’ve been using it since the early days of version 3. Over the years I’ve written various tutorials as well as recorded screencasts on the framework. I have put this course together to help you learn AdonisJs the most efficient way. This is a project-based course, so you'll get to learn AdonisJs by building a production-ready application completely from scratch.

Together we'll build Podcast, a podcast platform where users can signup and create their own podcast channel, and upload episodes to the podcast. Other users will be able to subscribe to podcast channels and be notified via email once new episodes are uploaded.

Great information on Adonis and building an app to understand the MVC framework. Pace might be a little quick to new learners, but information is all there.

The course is really good. The instructor gives a really good introduction to the AdonisJS framework and also gets into mid-level complexity features such as sending emails to reset passwords, creating custom middlewares, and setting up Nginx with digital ocean. I see some reviews here complaining about the instructor's accent. These people don't how to embrace the internet yet. That is what is about, you get access to knowledge from people all over the world and of course, the accent will change. Turn on the caption or rewind the video to better understand. Great course overall!!!!

good coverage of Adonis features as part of the process of building a specific application. one improvement would be to include a few minutes of design choices: 30 seconds of listing the possible ways to solve this problem, 30 seconds of tradeoffs, 30 seconds explaining the choice that's being made and then back to the video. otherwise enjoying it, about half way through
