It was hard to differentiate between one Korean sound from another. The video would be more effective if a diagram of the mouth or closeup of the mouth is shown.

I really enjoyed this course. I am learning Korean from a textbook and hearing the explanation of why something is read in a certain way (the pronunciation rules in the lessons) was amazing.

For the most part, it's really helpful to learn Korean vocab and pronunciations in the same video. The only thing I would probably try to add in is the verbal difference in pronunciations of 오 and 우, because it's pretty confusing. I'd suggest a visual video to help the student be able to know how to shape their mouth to properly pronounce it.

Really challenging given the level of quick instruction to learn the difference between the "ahh" and "oooh" sounding vowels. :( More time needs to be spent understanding and listening to examples of the differences.

I have some foundation studies in Korean Language prior to taking the tutorial and I found that the tutorial is helpful in enhancing my understanding on speaking and pronunciation which have been rather confusing and difficult for me to pick up. However, being a visual person I believe it would have been more helpful if there is readings/tutorial notes provided as well.

Just a disclaimer I work at Udemy. But I really do love this course!!! 고맙습니다 !!!! Just some helpful reasons, pros and cons in this course. Pros: I really like the instructor, she doesn't just know how to speak korean but knows how to teach it very well. The curriculum is really planned out very well. I really like how she goes over the vowels and how she organizes them visually. Also when you get into the consonants you get a really good refresher with the vowels. The vowels are the toughest for me, but there is a lot of practice and repetition. Cons: I can't think of much that is wrong with this course. But if there was one thing I wish they could improve on was delivering the double consonants to me in a way that I could understand. They do a good job with it, but its something I struggle with. I think also something I struggle with that my Korean friends bring up is that I say the letters incorrectly. Like the word "Hangul". I say it like "Han-gool", but there is some subtle things in that word that needs to be expressed. But I don't really blame them much for it, I think it just takes practice for me and I need to devote more time to it. All the tools are here, I just need to put more work into it. Helpful tips and where I am at: I am only 40% through the course, I am at the part with the double consonants and special rules and its very very difficult for me. I am taking it slow and continuing to practice my vowels and consonants. I mouth out the words when I am at a korean restaurant hehe. My Korean friends are always shocked and say "Very good!!! Wow!!" Its always fun to shock them with that stuff haha. So I am just practicing and getting my hangul down before stepping into the harder parts.

Everything is mostly good, my only issue is more towards the end of the lesson where the new words is quite hard to pronounced and it'll be great to see its romanization or ways to memorize it like earlier part of the course. Other then that, this is perfect to learn how to read 한국 Also more participation from the publisher is welcomed but it seems they're focusing on their own site support

I learned alot and would have rated this 5 stars if the instructor was more interactive. One person asked a question 4 times (months ago) and it still remains unanswered
