ISTQB offers certified courses that can cost over a thousand dollars. I was fortunate to have my company pay for the course when I studied for the Foundation Level exam. However, once I was ready to take the Advanced Level exam, I was at a different job that didn't pay for the course and I didn't have a thousand to invest. I chose an Udemy course, and I am glad I did! It not only saved me a lot of money but it gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to pass the exam.

I have spent a lot of time building a quality course that is clear and efficient. You will get lectures that are straight to the point with relevant examples. I created this course because I want to share my knowledge with you so that you can pass the exam. Being certified hopefully gets you your first QA job, a better QA job, or a promotion!

She's basically reading the syllabus out loud. I expected a much more dinamic approach with animations, slides, deconstruction of complex concepts and real examples that could actually appear on the ISTQB exam!

I took an ISTQB test today and I passed. So, I wanted to leave a review and thank the lecturer for making this course. Thank you so much !! You really helped me. Pros: 1. This is a very nicely put aggregation of all material in one place. I found the resources in all chapters very useful. It's extremely well organized and therefore takes off a lot of mental fog. 2. The video time is way lesser than some other courses. So, it was relatively easy to complete. 3. The teacher has a nice, clear and lively way of speaking. At least I found it so in comparison to other courses (previews). (But I do like female voices more than male ones in general. So, it could just be my own bias). 4. I liked her simple, relatable and easy to remember examples. Cons: 1. Only basic slides (as opposed to more captivating imagery which would stay in your mind) 2. Chapter one was very boring with no examples. She was only reading the slides as opposed to using the slides as an aid for her explanation.
