IT is interesting but It does not explain how to compensate the cold junction other than by CJC bloc. I suppose that by having a local unit reading the temperature and sending the data to a processing unit the temperature can be compensated knowing the thermocouple type at the cold junction. Still the explanation are quite clear and comprehensive
