A good essential speed reading course. The instructor sounding like some intellectual scholar gave it an extra nice touch. I like the most the diverse approach it took with the techniques on how to read faster depending on your reading materials and various scenarios.

I have taken other speed reading courses in the past, so was already familiar with reading words in sets and not as individuals, but this course does an excellent job of pretty much covering everything that you would need to know that other courses would and more. There were some interesting techniques I have not heard of which can prove useful for certain reading situations like table and chart readings and reading in noisy places. Overall, a well-rounded course that covers increasing speed to different types of reading, but don’t expect miracles.
