In this Inkscape Beginner to Pro course you will learn all the tools step by step to create any graphics you need.

In Section 1 we check out pictograms and create our own.This is an important step to get an idea of different forms and shapes. So you learn:

analysing pictograms and their shapes
creating your own pictograms
all needed tools meanwhile

In later sections we go into user interface design like buttons, panels and so on. We check the color palette and colors at all. We make use of gradients and analize Light and Shadows for special effects. According to this we create 3D effects like pushing in buttons.

We also learn saving and exporting graphics in the correct sizes and image-formats.

In the end you will have a rather big portfolio of created vector grapics and exported pictures for your website, business or even game.

You will have a better thinking of design and graphics, and you should be able to create your own in low amount of time with any look you like.

I would have given a higher rating so far I'm not that far along in the course. This course presumes the student is already somewhat familiar with Inkscape which would be a bit okay if the screen share were more clear and the instructor slowed down. I know because I am taking a course similar but very ABC- 123 My hope was a compliment to that service. I can't follow along when parts of the screen at the top is shaded simi black anand the bottom toolbar cannot be fully seen.

Yes, he explained some of the tools and how to create objects very well but he could've dived more deeply into inkscape and explained more complex things.

Not too bad so far, I would recommend the teacher slow down and describe what he’s going to do before he does it. I would also suggest maybe hovering over the icon your going to click and make sure that the student selects it. I’ll update my review once I’m done with the course.

I am a Adobe Illustrator artist. Have been for 30 years. My version of AI no longer works with Windows 10. I am skilled in computer graphics, I just need to know where everything is located the the differences between Inkscape and AI

I have no experience in computer graphic design or drawing, and I think there should be more elementary navigation first before tool use. However, Octo Man also explains using the tools pretty well. There's A LOT of button and features on Inkscape, basic buttons could have been explained. Not entirely dissatisfied though.

I think that a course named beginner to pro should start with getting familiar with the UI. I am looking up other videos to find where the instructor is at and how to get my screen to look like theirs.
