How to Master SEO - Understand SEO Quickly and Easily

Good. This is very helpful. SEO has always seemed like rather a vague mystery to me - but this course is (finally) building the 'knowledge foundation' of I'd been missing. Thank you.

The question in the first quiz was worded oddly ("You not need to provide value with SEO") and one was not even relevant to the course. I got the question "Who do you think would win in a fight between a grilled cheese sandwich and a taco?" WRONG (is that even possible) , re-listened to the part it directed me back to and there was nothing about sandwich show downs mentioned- nor do I see what this has to do with SEO. I took this course seriously and I don't want to waste my time with ridiculous questions. I won't be continuing.

It got me into understanding what SEO is. But, I would like more information as to how I am going to make SEO for my site.

Great that Ben has made this SEO course free, so kudos to him. I already practice SEO with several page 1 local search placements achieved, so using this course as a refresher. It is a good introduction to the subject but as Ben mentions it can take a lot of effort and time to attain mastership of the subject, so from that standpoint the title of the course is perhaps a bit overstated. It is a good springboard if you are new to the subject. and the author sounds very enthusiastic about his subject with good presentational skills. As Ben mentions SEO is a moving target because the Search Engines are frequently updating their algorithms and this course is around 2 years but nevertheless is still mostly valid, although to bring it up to date more emphasis would need to be given to content writing. I am a little perplexed though as to wether the course is now complete or not based on the last couple of videos which appears to show a few incomplete modules on the course plan. It is for this reason that I have deducted half a star because of the confusion. Other than that this is definately a course I would recommend for SEO newbs.

so far so good, however could have went over the inbound links a bit more due to moz tool bar now showing as many backlinks as sem rush did. 4 compared to 972 for my website

The course, so far, has been very informative with lots of good information on SEO and the basics of it. Ben Spak has an excellent and welcoming voice personality! I gave just less than 5 because I wish there was much more on the how-to of it. Hopefully in the sections to come!

I was/am a complete newbie to SEO and now I know what it is, I don't know how I go about using this knowledge. I mean, I took notes of all your slides and listened attentively but there is still the application of this newfound knowledge missing. You did just say that you were like "woooooah, a lot people want to know SEO! Got some work cut out for me here!" so maybe application to the knowledge will be covered in your next installment. You said not to leave a review now, wait until it's done but this thing asked.......

I know very little SEO although I've been a freelance writer for a year now and have my own blog. I'm finding this course helpful in understanding the purpose and basics of SEO. I hope that my blog will grow and benefit from this great course. Thanks for putting it together.

Superb intro info to SEO. Ben is very organized as well as conversational and friendly in his presentation. Though I'm green to SEO, I can follow/absorb this easily. I appreciate the resources & links I can apply to my own business afterwards. Be careful, Ben, to define new SEO terms you introduce--just occasional issue.

After starting the course i found that this course is perfectly matching my taste and i get a clear picture of SEO as a whole with what it should be like.

I was expecting move valuable info. For me it was just seo in brief. The font on some slides was so little it was hard to see it. Many lectures wasted on talking about himself.
