It was a reality check for me. U hit the nail on the head for majority of the lessons. I have tried many of these approaches in my life and working history. It is hard to straighten a crooked/bent tree UNLESS u chop/cut it at the base, so it can regrow straight/upright. Its nice to mention employees who come to work, thinking they own the company AND those who come to work ONLY looking forward to pay day. I see many of these topics did not discuss the RACIAL side, since in my country we have many cultures and ethic groups and AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, also the BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT POLICY in PLACE. Some of these approaches might cause racial issues and face disciplinary process in work place. Have u heard the saying - ' if it is not broken don't fix it' - People do not want to change for the better, old ways, don't like new solutions - job security. Also u have not mentioned How old workers treat new recruits and onboarding from another department. THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL LESSON. I will re-visit.

Conflict, in any setting, is frustrating and uncomfortable. Like anyone else, I wish we lived in a world of complete peace, compliance, and agreement. Unfortunately, that's not the case. may avoid conflict in the workplace like the plague. However, sometimes, it can creep up on you before you know it, with either customers or other employees. That's when you must decide how you want to approach the conflict. Learning about conflict management and ways to handle upset customers is especially vital to an employee working in customer success.
