i anticipated it would apply to general audio files but is really only helpful for files associated with video courses where there is only one mic. it is too simplistic for use with general audio files where some background noise is desired.

The course is focus at showing how-to do things, there is no explanations about the theory of each audio setting. It's very good the course, because if you need to rush into editing your audio and don't have time for in-depth explanations, this course helps you get your task done. Also, even when the course is recorded with Windows XP computer, it's applicable in newer versions like Windows 10.

Actually she is using an older version of audacity so no it really didn't help me much at all. Plus I need more in depth of how to clean up an audio file. This is more of a beginner class.

Rosa, thank you for making this course on how to clean up your audio files using Audacity. I knew about the overall noise reduction, but you provided addtional tips on removing the mouse clicks, pops and the puffing sounds if you didn't have a pop-filter.
