most or all of the classes are recorded in very low volium, it is impossible to hear what you say . also many things are repeted too many times. and not enough practical information. this course fits for new dog owners and not very much to people how deal with dogs all thier life

This was the worst course I have taken. I am still waiting to learn! It's like the teacher was reading a script and was reading each title of what we were going to learn... but then did not read the main text! I am super disappointed with this course. I hope the information will be updated as there is a lot of great potential content... just missing all of the content!

I am taking this course because my dog has 2 torn rear ACL's and am hoping to help him naturally. I like all the amazing info, especially on the mushrooms and Zheng Gu Shui. Only thing is I can't seem to hear some parts well even with the audio all the way up.

I wish there was more PDF to be saved about use on crystals and simple Acupressure points to use on your pets and essential oils that are beneficial for ticks and fleas

Provided some information I wasn't aware of especially with homeopathic options for pain, which makes the entire class worth it. However, most was just very basic information you can get from googling the term. I would recommend maybe providing some stories of where you have seen improvement using these treatments, or maybe some states/history to make it bit more in depth. Overall though, good information. :)

A professional in the dog industry here... I was REALLY hoping this course was going to be good. This whole thing is definitely in need of a polish... 98% is just the instructor reading her own slides adding little else. Each "unit" has one video, no quizzes, only 2 PDFs in the entire course, one of which is a dangerous "dosage calculator" for dogs and the other is a recipe for dog food which I can't in good conscience recommend anyone feed as a staple diet... I can't even... Most videos are under 10 minutes or even less, and most lessons are akin to someone reading you a grocery list, one unit basically was a grocery list (and some of the products recommended were only so/so)... The information is really very very basic. A lot of "here's some things" without explanation of how or why... a lot of anecdotal "home remedies", mentioning of her business, and shout outs to her own pets... It heavily leans on product recommendations in both TCM and homeopathic arenas (I have my own feelings on homeopathy). Some info is ok if you're absolutely brand new to owning a dog and you've never used google. Imagine listening to a friend read to you from a spa brochure they found off the internet but leaving out why the treatments are beneficial and that's this course. One unit was just "acupuncture is a thing for dogs and feels good. massage is a thing for dogs and feels good... and so on and so forth..." The nutrition section (which is my wheelhouse) had me pulling at my hair and screaming WHAT?! Might I note the dog food recipe she recommends is far from balanced for a senior dog and is carbohydrate heavy (older dogs should be eating a high animal protein/low carb food). It's lacking in essential organ meats, and varied fresh produce. Honestly if she was going to touch on nutrition she should be recommending further reading at the very least. Instead this unit took a deep dive into the shallow end of the pool. Very disappointing. If you're even moderately familiar with natural/holistic dog care, herbs, alternative therapies, canine nutrition, etc. go ahead and skip this class.

I have a German Shepherd who's experiencing pain and limping. jeanie's course gave me a lot of insight about what is happening to him, why it's caused and what to do about it. I particularly liked the explanations of the various meds that vets suggest. They don't usually explain the meds or why they're being given. She did. Great class. I got a lot out of it. Highly recommended.

The course is way to general. This was meant to be for people who are dog lovers, we know most of these things. I'd rather listen to more information about acupuncture and acupressure itself, so which point of the body is responsible for which function, how long the therapy take etc. So far I am a bit disappointed.

As an experienced dog trainer and lover, there were some topics in the course that I was already familiar with but I was looking to learn more. This course was a great choice as it helped to discuss other holistic means of canine (and feline) care that are available and how to have an idea of when they would be beneficial. I had never learned about crystals/gems before so I plan to give them a shot now. Overall the course is a good starting place to learn more about different holistic remedies -- she appropriately recommends seeking professional care while educating on the different forms available. Very nice and slow talking pace so your not having to re-play constantly.

Excellent course with a lot of information. I'd recommend this to anyone working with dogs, especially if they haven't had much exposure to holistic approaches.

Learned so many new ways to help my poor dog. Lots of remedies, holistic therapies to think about and practical advice. Good to learn about the side effects of prescribed medications too. Thank you so much.
