Grant Writing Master Class

I'm literally just in the 3rd section and I've already found TWO mistakes in the text! I would think a GRANT WRITING course would be more in tune to making sure that all of their Ts are crossed and their Is are dotted! SMH

Even though I prefer 100% video-type lectures, the combination of text and video worked well for engagement and retention.

So far it is a good match. It is mostly reinforcing what I already know, but also placing emphasis where I need to focus more, specifically in the planning process.

Overall, this was very informative and detailed. However, I wish she would have read the slides with all text, just because I learn better that way. Also, those slides should be edited better. She was also a little repetitive throughout the course. That being said, I felt I learned a lot. It was definitely worth it.

This being my first experience in online learning, the first three days were challenging due to the network. Some how I could not understand the Quiz part after each session but i later understood it due to Eric's guidance. I started enjoying the course in my first week, each section had notes that I could read but supported by videos too. Trough this, I identified many needs for the grant and started writing my application. Truth is everything has been amazing, the time frame is perfectly fine. I enjoyed my lessons and I can't wait to write a perfect grant application and send to different organizations. I have given it 4 stars (**** ) because I have not had any course with other Academies online but otherwise I could give it 5 stars. I enjoyed the experience. Thank you Udemy and long live Udemy.

A lot of reading of slides- would have been more helpful if it read those slides for us. Great resources, however, very helpful information!

I have written, received, and managed over $3,000,000 in grants; however, they had been previously researched by the Board of Education and had done all of the preparation work, research and set up. This course taught me how to look for and written TO the needs of a community if having to find and write a grant on my own.

The course is good and informative. But I feel it can use more examples, it should be called a general overview of grant writing

The instructor seems knowledgeable and competent. her voice is very pleasing and the additional material very practical and helpful. The course is short, you can finish in less than a day if you are following and doing the exercises as she speaks. The course is certainly helpful if you have no clue about the process and is looking for a first step into the process. But I would hardly sell it as mastery. It would help if the course had more examples on successfull vs. unsuccessfull aplications. Some paragraphs would do. Beside that. The explanations are clear, to the point and said in a nice rythm with a very pleasing voice to hear them. Sound quality is good, so no problem to follow the program. The exercises are simple and helpful. Overal I recommend the course. It is just a little too basic for me. But it is a great introduction.

Good information, presented well and gives great ideas to those of us who have little grant writing experience.

It presents a competent understanding of grant writing and presented very articulately, but nothing exceptional. It's a good distillation of the basically sensible, but not exceptional in insight or technical and legal information.

As someone with zero experience with grant writing, this was a great introduction. I also appreciated the resources.

Giving us great ideas on how to apply for a grant and in depth thinking about why we apply for a grant

This course was fantastic! Incredibly well-organized, straight to the point, and it provided a ton of extra reference material.

Discusses step by step each process in the writing a proposal and provides great examples. However, there are some readimg sections where a word was omitted.
