This is a great introduction to Godot. The pacing of the videos is good, and the lessons are packed with information but never felt overwhelming.

The course covers the absolute basics of using Godot in a 2D environment. This was conveyed well, although a pre-written script would have been useful. However, if you have already spent a few hours in Godot and don't feel helpless, I would not necessarily recommend this course anymore.

Great course for beginners. Kann explains everything very well. I learnt so much about how Godot is structured and also the thought process behind programming a game. Highly recommend if you are new to Godot.

A good and understandable course! Overall I got what I expected and exactly that. You won't go wrong getting this course and it will definitely help you get a solid foundation for your game development journey with Godot. Some of the things I would like to see in this course additionally: - Some ''challenge'' sections, where the instructor gives you a challenge to solve and then shows you the solution - More of a ''beginner'' mindset from the instructor, i.e: when we want to do something - add particles, set a timer or anything -> show how to get to the needed information as a beginner, go through the extra steps of finding the explanation in the documentation to get people into the habit of looking for it themselves - It would be nice to go into more detail into some of the choices the instructor made when creating the games: i.e. why do we use a control node as a base for Main Menu instead of say a normal 2D node, or a 2D scene. Overall thought, great course. I highly recommend you get it and support the instructor. I really enjoyed my time. Thank you very much!

I've taken other Godot beginner courses - covering the editor, scene tree, nodes, touching on signals - but this course is much more than that. To me it goes from beginner to intermediate. Much more than I was expecting.

A good beginners course, the games are fun to make and Kaan is still addressing questions about the course and Godot at the point I am writing this review. A little more explanation/theory around the scripting would have been nice, but he has provided a location for further learning and put in the about section that you should have an understanding of basic programming principles so can't really complain there. Overall a nice introduction to using Godot.
