This course focuses the fundamental key content and requirements of ASME Y14.5-2018 and ISO GPS standards, such as ISO1101, ISO8015, etc. The whole training consists 60 modules covers size, form, orientation, position tolerance, datum, datum system, MMC/LMC applications, bonus tolerance, datum shift and composite tolerance, etc, it also touches the knowledge on geometric tolerance inspection, calculation and gage design

GD&T is the international language to describe the function of the parts, this language should precisely and uniquely specify the function of the parts as well as the feasibility of manufacturing and measurement.

This course is designed to help either beginners or intermediate GD&T users to reach the experienced level. The whole course has 60 modules, which is designed from fundamental level to advanced level. Each module is targeted to dive into each GD&T and GPS knowledge in detail and in depth by using practical drawing cases. Then all of this points will be linked together to build the systematic knowledge of GD&T/ISO GPS frame structure. We believe the philosophy, logic and relationship behind those various symbols is the key to make the learner to grasp the core understanding on GD&T/ISO GPS. Just understanding the definition of geometric tolerance is not enough, we will explore the meaning of each geometric symbol from the angle of relationship, application and function, such as common and difference of each tolerance, how to define the datum based on the function, how to define the tolerance based on the function, how to evaluate the parts, how to design the function gage to verify the parts. The training includes 12 work-shop quizzes to help the students improve practical application skills, we have provide final test to verify the learning effectiveness. Bonus GD&T & GPS videos will be offered to improve the understanding the specific knowledge point. Long term question and answer service will be provided for free.

This course is amazing! The instructor has put so much effort into creating this comprehensive and engaging course on GD&T and ISO GPS. I learned a lot from the 12 hours of content and the examples that were relevant to the course material. The instructor has a vast knowledge of GD&T based on ASME Y14.5-2018 and ISO GPS and he explains everything clearly and concisely. This course is very helpful for beginners and especially for engineers who work in design, quality, process, manufacturing or gage. I am very thankful to the instructor for his effort and his excellent presentation of the concepts from beginner level to advance level. I recommend this course to everyone who wants to learn GD&T and ISO GPS in a fast and effective way. This course is a great investment of time and money!

The subtitles are worst , because I'm from India I'm not able to grasp the accent the course instructor is conveying this is a vey disappointing. Atleast Udemy should find some alternate measure to improve the captions

Sim; meu único reparo refere-se à transcrição automática da narração do autor. Muitas palavras são transcritas erroneamente (ex.: "fisher" quando o autor diz "feature") e demoramos um pouco mais para entender. Mas, no geral, o curso tem sido bom até esse módulo.

The prospect is there to learn a lot and the instructions are very clear. Some errors still persist in the slides and that can cause confusion when the tests are multiple choice. Finally the general topic was maybe a bit dry for me and perhaps more real world images/examples could alleviate this. All in all worth my time and money + good to have as reference.

Too much reading from the screen instead of additional examples on drawings. But overall it is OK. For example, the last bonus video has no finite dimension with tolerance for each part.

At just go with the first lesson and it is what I expected. Explanations are very good and the topics are covered in order and organized from bottom to upper level. There is room for improvement on the English subtitles, that does not follow the right word that the presenter is saying. I would like to have the option to correct them by myself immediately, then I can make a review of the content easily.

This course clarifies why Concentricity and Symmetry are removed, they are simply a special case of Position, and how Position can be used without datum. By applying GD&T in my drawing, especially when thinking of how to establish the datum system, I will reassess the design intent for which functional and assembly purposes can be explained logically. I will defiantly promote this design language in my company and continuously follow the update.

This is an excellent course. I am learning so much and I am sure that afterwards if I ever have to specify GD&T on my drawings I will know EXACTLY how to do so. The only issue is that this is an INCREDIBLY boring course. But anyways change is always painful, and no pain, no gain. I fell asleep twice because of this course. If you ever have a hard time going to bed at night, this is an excellent course to fix that problem.

I watched the entire module and have a couple comments: Unfortunately, there were times that I felt the language barrier interfering in the explanation of certain concepts, but I understand there’s nothing that can be done about that. What bothered me more however was that the presenter maybe does not recognize who the main audience will be. This course will only likely be taken by those who have or are pursuing a design or technical career. I personally took it as a refresher course and reference for proper use of ISO GPS. However, the way in which the presenter spoke felt quite patronizing, speaking as if to a child, that we might not know what 0.2+0.2 is. This not only made it frustrating to listen to at times, but also made the length of some videos twice as long as they needed to be. There were videos over 45 minutes long that only really needed 20 minutes. Nevertheless, the content was there and the examples were good for my references.
